The network had some great news for the Real Housewives franchise fans during its first annual BravoCon Saturday, announcing that a tenth installment is set to debut in 2020.

Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen made the announcement saying, “We’ve always tried to choose a city that has completely unique personalities and we also try to throw a little curveball now and then. Pick somewhere you weren’t expecting.”

He continued: “You didn’t see it coming but I have to tell you, in Utah, you have the majesty of the mountains, the Mormon religion, an exclusive community of people who have very successful businesses who live in their own universe. It is gorgeous and I think you’re going to be really surprised and intrigued by the group of women we’ve found.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City joins The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of New York City, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, The Real Housewives of D.C., The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Miami, The Real Housewives of Potomac, and The Real Housewives of Dallas.

Andy Cohen broke the news during an episode of Watch What Happens Live in front of the cast of The Real Housewives.

“Tonight, I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers, and the benefit of science, if all goes according to plan, in about six weeks’ time I am going to become a father,” Cohen revealed. “Thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future. Family means everything to me and having one of my own that I have wanted in my heart my entire life. And though it’s taken most me longer than most to get there, I can’t wait for what I envision to be the most rewarding chapter yet.”

Cohen has always been very open about his life saying he has “always tried to be as transparent as possible about my life.” Back in March, Cohen opened about his dating life saying that he is single but definitely looking.

“Yes, I am single again,” Cohen told Entertainment Tonight. He added that he’d want “someone who’s very independent, someone who has their own thing going on. Maybe someone who’s never seen The Real Housewives.”

CNN announced Tuesday that Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will co-host the network’s 2018 New Year’s Eve celebration. This will be Cooper and Cohen’s second time as co-hosts. Cohen landed the gig in 2017 after Cooper’s co-host Kathy Griffin was fired for posing in that aux Donald Trump head controversial photo.

New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will begin its live coverage from New York City’s Times Square at 8 PM on Monday, December 31.

“Getting to ring in the New Year with Andy is a total joy and I can’t wait for the big night!” Cooper said in a statement, while Cohen said, “Who would’ve thought 25 years of friendship would lead to an almost-tradition of co-hosting New Year’s Eve on CNN!?” The host of Bravo’s Watch What Happen’s Live added that he’s very excited to spend New Year’s with his friend again. He also promised not to complain about the bitter cold.

According to Deadline, last year’s New Year’s Eve celebration was CNN’s highest-rated New Year’s Eve Special on record.

Cohen will be taking Kathy Griffin’s place next to Cooper as co-host. Griffin co-hosted New Year’s Eve with Cooper since 2007, but was fired from the gig in May due to the controversy surrounding her photo shoot with a bloodied mask of President Donald Trump’s head.

The Bravo host and the CNN journalist have been friends for years. Cooper has even appeared on WWHL, revealing that the two nearly went on a blind date together!

“Andy and I were first set up on a blind date, which never happened because we had a phone call and after two minutes, I said, ‘I’m not dating this guy,'” Cooper recalled. “He broke my cardinal rule… he mentioned my mom [Gloria Vanderbilt] within the first four sentences of meeting me.”
