]]>The Television Academy chair Frank Scherma described Anderson as a multi-talented performer and a great friend of the Academy, and added they’re “thrilled that he is hosting what promises to be a rich celebration of the year’s outstanding television, as well as 75 years of Emmys excellence.”
Anderson said he can’t wait to be part of the biggest night in television, and he’ll certainly feel right at home on the Emmys stage. Anderson scored 11 nominations as star and executive producer of the ABC sitcom Black-ish, which ended its run last year. He went on to star in Kenya Barris’s comedy You People and will soon host the game show We Are Family.
After a major delay in the face of dual strikes in Hollywood, the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards are scheduled to take place on January 15, 2024. The final season of HBO’s Succession will come into the night with 14 nominations, closely followed by The White Lotus with 12.

]]>NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson couldn’t wait to share the amazing news with the public, since he knew how pleased everyone was with Anderson’s performance every time he hosted in the past.
“We are pleased to have Anthony as our host for our 50th anniversary. Anthony’s charisma on stage has won over our audience and continues to bring in new viewers every year,” said Johnson.
This year’s NAACP Image Awards will take place on March 30 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and will air live on TV One. This awards ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of people of color in television, music, literature

The event, which will be held at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, pays tribute to mothers for their endless love and devotion. Past celebrity guests who honored their mothers include Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith, Alicia Keys, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, and many more.
Dear Mama is being produced by Flavor Unit and Jesse Collins Entertainment. Serving as executive producers are Shakim Compere, Queen Latifah, Jesse Collins, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay.
