Kayla decides to drive him out with the help of an alley cat named Tom, but her strategy backfires horribly when the two rivals cross each other’s path. Collider also reports that Tom and Jerry will remain relatively silent, just like in the original animated series.

The Tom and Jerry live-action re-imagining is only one of several exciting projects set to star Chloë Grace Moretz. She’s also attached to the Bonnie and Clyde remake, Love Is a Gun, and Luca Guadagnino’s drama Blood on the Tracks, based on Bob Dylan’s album of the same name.

Bonnie and Clyde were real-life criminals who traveled the country during the Great Depression, robbing banks with their gang and killing everyone who stood in their way.

Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were in charge of portraying the notorious duo in Arthur Penn’s classic from 1967. Their adventures later served as inspiration for several TV movies and a mini-series with Emile Hirsch and Holliday Grainger.

This latest adaptation will be based on the book Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story Of Bonnie And Clyde by Jeff Guinn. Producers behind Love is a Gun are excited about reintroducing their iconic story to a younger generation, with an amazing team on board.

“Kike, Chloë, and Jack are completely in sync about the character-driven approach we will be taking, and we feel lucky to have a creative team of this high caliber leading us forward,” said the statement released by the producers.
