The fourth film in the series will be based on Helen Fielding’s best-selling novel Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy. This book will catch up with the titular heroine in her early fifties, and it will see her face the challenges of single parenting while dealing with heartbreaking loss and rediscovering love and joy.

Renée Zellweger will return as Bridget Jones, while Hugh Grant will join her as Daniel Cleaver, who was presumed dead before an Easter egg in Bridget Jones’s Baby revealed he’s still very much alive. Emma Thompson will also be back, and this trio will be joined by two new cast members – Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) and Leo Woodall (One Day).

Michael Morris (To Leslie) will direct the fourth film, while Fielding wrote the script. Her Bridget Jones book series inspired three adaptations—Bridget Jones’s Diary, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, and Bridget Jones’s Baby—which earned a total of $756 million at the global box office.

The first teaser trailer for the forthcoming limited series based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s best-selling novel You Should Have Known has been unveiled. 

The miniseries hails from creator and writer David E. Kelley, who also serves as showrunner. It was directed by Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier. 

Per official description — Kidman and Grant star as Grace and Jonathan Fraser, “who are living the only lives they ever wanted for themselves. Overnight a chasm opens in their lives: a violent death and a chain of terrible revelations. Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child (Noah Jupe) and her family.”

Edgar Ramirez, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Matilda De Angelis, Lily Rabe, Noma Dumezweni, Sofie Grabol, and Donald Sutherland also star in The Undoing.

The Undoing is based on the novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. David E. Kelley, who served as showrunner on Kidman’s previous HBO project Big Little Lies will return to the same role this time around.

Susanne Bier, who received an Emmy for her work on mini-series The Night Manager, will be in charge of directing this intriguing series. She’ll also serve as executive producer alongside Kidman.

According to multiple sources, Hugh Grand and Swedish television producer Anna Eberstein have wed in London on Friday. Their nuptials took place just days after their engagement was revealed via an official notice of their marriages was posted on display at the local town hall.

After tying the knot at the Chelsea Register Office, the couple celebrated with friends and family outside of the wedding venue.

The two have been linked romantically for six years and welcomed their first child together, a son, in 2012. A couple of years later they welcomed a daughter and just a few months ago, a third child together, and Grant’s fifth.

News of their third child was accidentally confirmed by Grant’s ex, Elizabeth Hurley.

“I’m very lucky that 31 years into our friendship, he’s still my best friend in the world. He’s a really great guy. I see him a lot; I speak to him a lot. You know, he’s now a father of five; he has five kids and he’s a great dad. Yeah, he will remain my best friend for life,” Hurley said.

On Watch What Happens Live Hurley couldn’t help but joke about Grant having a total of five kids.

“He was over 50 when he spawned them all! He’s an enchanting dad — really, really sweet. Having these kids has transformed him from a very miserable person into a fairly miserable person. It’s improved him. He’s gone up the scale.”

The 57-year-old actor has welcomed his third child with girlfriend Anna Eberstein. The two are already parents to a 2-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son.

The news was oddly enough revealed by Grant’s ex Elizabeth Hurley on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. During her appearance on the show, the host asked whether she was “surprised” Grant was a father to multiple children, to which she replies, “Well, he had another last week. He has five.”

The model and actress couldn’t help but joke about Grant having so many children saying jokingly, “he was over 50 when he spawned them all.” She then added, however, that “he’s an enchanting father. Really, really sweet. Having these kids has transformed him from a very miserable person into a fairly miserable person. It’s improved him. He’s gone up the scale.”

News that the couple was expecting broke when the couple was photographed in a New York City airport and Eberstein’s baby bump was showing through her coat.

A rep for Grant has not commented.
