]]>Chris Pratt recently had a sit-down with MTV News in order to promote The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, but also answered some questions about his other projects. When asked about the third installment of Jurassic World film series, the 39-year-old actor decided to provide some encouraging glimpse into the movie.
“I can’t say anything, but I can tell you when I heard the pitch, I was blown away,” said Pratt. “I can’t believe that we’re going to make that movie, and I can’t believe they found a way to deliver on the promise of the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Like, ‘Wait what? The island has blown up. The animals are out, we can’t put them back in the box. What are we going to do? How are not only these dinosaurs but this technology moving forward going to affect the planet?’ We jump forward, and it’s like, ‘Oh! Oh, right! Oh, damn!’ He’s [Colin Trevorrow] been working his butt off on it. it’s going to be pretty epic.”

]]>According to the 37-year-old actress, she would like that the entire Jurassic Park film saga comes “together” in the final part of Jurassic World trilogy and to see more characters from the earlier movies making an appearance.
“In terms of the third movie, the goal overall is to bring the entire saga together. It’ll be the sixth film at the end of the day. For me, what I’m most wanting, other than an undercut, is for there to be more characters from the earlier films.” – said Dallas Howard.
We already got a cameo of Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, so the stage is all set for other epic characters from the first three installments of Jurassic Park to join in the party.
Prior to this, Jurassic World 3 director Colin Trevorrow expressed his desire to bring back Sam Neill and Laura Dern’s characters Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ellie Sattler, who were the stars of the first installment, 1993’s Jurassic Park.

]]>This isn’t the first time Trevorrow will take part in the franchise having directed and co-wrote the first Jurassic World in 2015. Trevorrow also co-wrote the script with Derek Connolly for the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom that was directed by J.A. Bayona.
Trevorrow will collaborate with Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim: Uprising) on a script for the third installment of the franchise.
“It’s important to this franchise that we welcome new creative voices to keep our storytelling fresh and alive,” says Trevorrow. “I’m thrilled with the tension and beauty J.A. has brought to Fallen Kingdom, and I know Emily will add another layer of emotion to the concluding chapter of our trilogy.”
Fallen Kingdom is scheduled to hit theaters June 22.
