In addition to directing this dark comedy for Apple, Hill co-wrote the script with Ezra Woods. He’s also coming on board as one of the producers alongside Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin under their Strong Baby banner.

Outcome marks Diaz’s second project since she decided to put a stop to her hiatus from acting. She’ll make a comeback with the role in Netflix’s action-comedy Back in Action alongside Jamie Foxx later this year.

Diaz has a pretty impressive track record as a comedy actress, and her filmography includes such hits as Bad Teacher, The Mask, and There’s Something About Mary. She’s been on hiatus since starring in Annie in 2014, and she used this break to focus on her work as an entrepreneur and a health book author.

Before announcing the Matrix’s new release date, Warner Bros. said they were moving back Christopher Nolan’s spy thriller Tenet from July 17 to July 31 and Wonder Woman 1984 from August 14 to October 2. Anne Hathaway’s Witches remake was removed from the schedule and Tom and Jerry has been moved back to next year.

Multiple outlets confirm that a fourth Matrix movie is coming, and yet it will star Keanu Reeves.

The acclaimed cyber-action franchise is being rebooted by Warner Bros and the upcoming installment will star Reeves as Neo and his original costar Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity.

Original co-creator, Lana Wachowski, will also return to write, direct and produce. 

“We could not be more excited to be re-entering The Matrix with Lana,” said Toby Emmerich, chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group. “Lana is a true visionary — a singular and original creative filmmaker — and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in The Matrix universe.”

“Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now,” added Wachowski. “I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends.”

The third and last movie in the franchise, The Matrix Revolutions hit theaters in 2003. The first film launched the series in 1999.

Tim Allen AKA Buzz Lightyear has revealed that Reeves has a role in the upcoming fourth installment of the hugely successful franchise. Allen shared the tidbit on the newcomer to the toy box Wednesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Despite the reveal, Allen didn’t say much else about the character or the plot, saying, “it is so good… it is so deep and moving, and wonderful plot, [but] I can’t give anything away.”

“They really will surprise you with the toys they came up with,” Allen said. “Characters came back, new guys in it that are great. Keanu Reeves has got a great part.”

Then he continued: “Actually, a little inside story: Even he [Revves] said — gentle, wonderful guy that he is — ‘This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear.’ And his character does have an edge to that. And the guy said, ‘So we calmed him down a little bit,’ and they reminded me his toy is only that big.”

Pixar dropped the first teaser trailer for Toy Story 4 last week, which kicked the fans’ anticipation into high gear. The trailer introduced a new toy, Forky, a spork turned craft project turned toy voiced by Tony Hale.

Toy Story 4 will hit theaters on June 21, 2019.

The Matrix star was hanging out at the bar of Dream Inn in Santa Cruz, where the wedding took place. He was just minding his own business when newlyweds Leslie Walker and Jarrod Camara approached him and asked for a picture.

Keanu Reeves was thrilled after meeting them and gladly took a photo, right before they shared their vows. The groom’s brother, Jordan Camara, was there with the couple and said the actor’s gesture made the bride and groom super happy right before they tied the knot.

“My brother went over and Keanu got right up and shook everyone’s hands and then did that awesome pose for the picture. He was awesome and shook our hands and took the pic with the bride and groom. We didn’t see him again for the rest of the wedding. No crashing involved at all.” said Camara

This wasn’t the first time the John Wick star appeared in a wedding photo of complete strangers. It’s been almost two weeks since he posed for a picture with another happy couple from New York.

It’s not the first movie starring the two ‘90s superstar that includes a confusing wedding sequence. They did a similar thing while playing a young couple in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. As a matter of fact, their wedding in that movie was so realistic that Ryder believes they’ve been married for the last 25 years.

“We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life. In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married.” said Winona Ryder in an interview she did alongside Reeves.

The actor played along and proclaimed “Oh my gosh, we’re married.” after his co-star reminded him of the whole thing. Her story sounds like a perfect rom-com we’d definitely want to see, but we’ll have to settle for Destination Wedding in the meantime. This tale of two misanthropic wedding guests who develop a special connection will premiere on August 31.

More than three decades after the first installment of the franchise, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure hit our screens, fans will get to see their air guitar heroes on the big screen again. 

The Hollywood Reporter reports that stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have signed on to reprise their roles as Ted Logan and Bill S. Preston, Esq, in the third installment, titled Bill & Ted Face the Music.

Penning the script are original Bill & Ted writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon with Dean Parisot set to direct. 

Bill & Ted Face the Music will see the now middle-age time-travels weighed down by the responsibilities of family. They’ve written thousands of tunes, but they have yet to write their greatest hit, when a visitor from the future warns them heroes that only their song can save life as we know it. Out of inspiration, Bill and Ted set out on a time travel adventure to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.

“We couldn’t be more excited to get the whole band back together again,” Reeves and Winter said in a statement. “Chris and Ed wrote an amazing script, and with Dean at the helm we’ve got a dream team!”
