You know you love her!

HBO Max’s upcoming sequel of the hit teen drama is bringing back the original voice of Gossip Girl.

Multiple outlets confirm that Kristen Bell is reprising her role as the narration on the revival from original creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage with writer Joshua Safran.

“Kristen Bell has always been and will always be the voice of Gossip Girl,” they said.

Set eight years after the original ended the reboot will feature a whole new gang of upper east siders and will “address just how much social media—and the landscape of New York itself—has changed in the intervening years.”

“We felt like a version that was just our cast grown up…it didn’t really feel like a group of adults who were being controlled by Gossip Girl would make a lot of sense, so it felt like there was something really interesting about this idea that we are all Gossip Girl now, in our own way, that we are all purveyors of our own social media surveillance state, and how that’s evolved, and how that has morphed and mutated and telling that story through a new generation of upper east side high school kids felt like the right time,” said Schwartz.

No other original cast members are signed on.

Veronica Mars is one of many shows getting a revival in the last few years, and we actually can’t wait to see our favorite teen detective all grown up.

In the first teaser trailer for the new show Mars is back with a vengeance – and so is her iconic taser.

The short clip doesn’t reveal much of the plot and simply shows Kristen Bell taking on the role of Veronica Mars and delivering a couple of cheeky lines: “Spring break in Neptune. That means drunks, derelicts, flashers, frat boys, sorority vomit, pickpockets, bottomless drinks and topless dancers, street scum and beach bums. And that’s just the walk to my car. Fortunately, I’m good to go.”

Hulu previously revealed that this show will focus on Mars trying to solve a series of mysterious murders that took place during spring break in Neptune. It is set to premiere on July 26 and it will see several familiar faces returning to their respective roles.

The Awards season continues, this time with the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The SAG Awards, which honor the year’s performances in movies and television, took place at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Among the night’s big winners were Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, MissouriThis Is Us, and Big Little Lies.

As promised, it was the women of Hollywood who took center stage with a slew of female presenters. The night kicked off in the traditional fashion with Allison Janney, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Millie Bobby Brown speaking from their seats in the audience about their lives as actors. The SAG’s first-ever host, Kristen Bell, or as she self proclaimed, the “first lady,” nailed the gig and was absolutely flawless.

Three Billboards earned a best actress award for Frances McDormand, a supporting actor trophy for Sam Rockwell, and the SAG Awards equivalent of Best Picture award, the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

This Is Us took home the award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series. Cast member Sterling K. Brown’s earned the best actor in a TV drama award and made history as he is the first black man to win in that category. Just two weeks ago, Brown became the first black actor to win a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama.

As he took the stage to accept his award, he said: “What an honor it is to be recognized by your peers for a job well done. This room is a source of endless inspiration for me. I love all of you… To my glorious cast of This Is Us, you feed me day in day out. You raise the bar. To my white family, which thankfully is nothing like the family from Get Out, I love you. To my TV wife Susan Kelechi Watson, let’s keep on repping for the people. To the two young actors that play Randall, to Lonnie (Chavis) and Niles (Fitch), thank you for making the work so easy and so seamless.”

Another highlight of the evening was Morgan Freeman’s acceptance of the Screen Actors Guild’s Life Achievement Award. One of the entertainment industry’s highest honors was presented to 80-year-old Morgan by Rita Moreno.

“These moments in life usually call for an entire litany of thank you’s. I can’t do that because I don’t know all of your names, so I won’t try,” said Freeman. “This is beyond honor. This is a place in history.”

On the movie side, the SAG Awards are considered to be a pretty good indication as of what is to come during the Oscars as the two share a hefty portion of its membership base. The facts speak for themselves: since the first-ever SAG Awards, 17 lead actresses and 19 leading men, have won both the SAG Award and the corresponding Oscar.

Every new year is an opportunity to let go of old traditions and change things up a bit. This time it was the Screen Actors Guild that has named actress Kirsten Bell as the debut host of the 24th annual awards show.

The announcement that Bell is to become the first-ever host of the SAG awards was announced Monday by the award show’s executive producer Kathy Connell.

“We are delighted to have Kristen Bell as the first-ever host of the SAG Awards. This has been a year in which assumptions have been challenged, stereotypes have been shattered, and precedents have been broken. We decided to capture the cultural mood by casting aside one of our own traditions, and we’re thrilled to have such a talented performer like Bell help us do so.”

Bell, who already have some hosting experience, said she is very excited about the gig.

“I am honored to be part of the SAG Awards, and am a little nervous about being its first-ever host. I’m so glad that I’ll be in the company of my fellow actors, many of whom I’ve worked with before, so I know they’ll be warm and supportive. It’s going to be an amazing night.”

The SAG is one of the largest entertainment collectives in the industry. The 2017 nominees will be announced December 13. Watch the video shared by Bell in celebration of the history-making gig.

Encore! is the latest in a line of high school musical TV projects, genre which proved to be extremely popular with other shows like Glee and High School Musical.

Kristen Bell teamed up with Jason Cohen (Silicon Cowboys) to executive-produce this new TV special that will reunite high school musical casts from many years ago. The reunited classmates will perform their high school musical one last time. Will Gluck, director of the movie adaptation of the musical Annie, is backing the project.

Bell can’t forget her first high school musical experience, calling it a “watershed moment,” adding that it changed the way in which she experienced the world.

“I wanted to produce Encore! to help others re-experience their days on stage and re-discover the distinct bonding that comes with high school theatre,” Bell said in a statement. “Our show is about converging past dreams with present circumstances and I hope viewers can laugh and see themselves among the insurance salesman, the pregnant woman, and the rest of the classmates as they tackle Sondheim.”

The show will feature former students reprising their roles from their original production of Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods, now under the guidance of Broadway directors, choreographers, and voice coaches. ABC has confirmed that Bell will appear in the special. This project marks the actress’s most significant undertaking as a producer.

Encore! will premiere December 10 on ABC

Kristen Bell took to Instagram on Sunday to share a little grumpy photo of herself as Elsa from her 2013 animated Disney blockbuster hit Frozen. She isn’t dressed as her character Anna, rather as Elsa wearing the sparkling blue costume, at the request of her daughter for Halloween.

Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow and her boyrfriend, Brad Falchuk, paid tribute to Paltrow’s 1995 crime thriller Se7en with a skilfully twisted couple’s costume this year.

In the shocking ending of David Fincher’s serial killer drama, Paltrow’s character’s boyfriend (Played by Paltrow’s ex Brad Pitt), is led to a mysterious box in the middle of the desert by the killer John Doe (played by Kevin Spacey) to find the actress’s character’s head in a box for the film’s final act.

Paltro dressed up as her slaughtered character, complete with a cardboard box around her head and a shocked expression on her face. As for Falchuk, co-creator of American Horror Story, he wore an orange jumpsuit with black shackles binding his wrists and white sneakers, recreating John Doe’s ensemble in the desert.

The Oscar winner actress simply captioned the photo with a Jack-o-Lantern emoji.

When Veronica Mars ended in 2007, fans were insistent about bringing the iconic character back to the screens, and they succeeded, crowdsourcing a budget via Kickstarter for a Veronica Mars movie that was released in 2014.

During a Facebook Live interview on Wednesday, co-star Ryan Hansen was asked about the possibility of the series’ comeback and he got Kristen Bell on the phone to dish about playing the investigator once again.

“Rob and I are sort of in constant contact about when we could do it again,” Bell said. “There’s a lot of willingness and commitment to doing it again.”

The actress is currently starring NBC’s The Good Place, but noted that if they were to bring Veronica back, it would be some kind of TV or streaming series.

“Personally, and I think that Rob probably agrees that, A: we’ll never make the fans pay for it again, and B: the format works better in an episodic, where you get a little more of it,” she shared. “So we want to do a miniseries. We are willing to put the effort in.”

“I mean, if I have to do it as Murder, She Wrote at 80, we’re going to do it. It’s going to happen.”

Kristen Bell gets candid about her relationship struggles with Dax Shepard. In a clip for Harry Connick Jr.’s show, Harry’s, the Frozen star revealed that she constantly fought with her then-boyfriend in the early stages of their relationship.

“When we first met, we fell madly in love and I love the dramatic exit. There is nothing I crave more,” the 37-year-old actress told host Harry Connick Jr. “The first year, you are working out your kinks. I loved it. We’d get in a fight, because we would fight a lot, and I’d, like, yell something then slam the bedroom door, then I’d slam the front door, then I’d get in my car and then I’d skid out the driveway and I would sit around the corner in my car and it felt so good and I realized how incredibly toxic it was only after he pointed it out.”

“Three months into our relationship he was like, ‘You can’t leave anymore during fights. I’m not going to do that.’ I was like, ‘What?’ He’s like you can’t do that, I’m not going to have a relationship, he has a very high standard and a strong code of ethics. He was like, ‘No, I have more respect for myself, I love you but I’m not going to do that my whole life,'” she continued.

Bell admits that she learned many lessons from her husband.

“He said, ‘Let’s just help you. You are not a good fighter.’ And I always thought I was because I won,” the Good Place star shared. “He’s like, ‘No, people can’t do that. Our marriage won’t survive.’ And everything he was saying was making so much sense and I was like damn this guy.”

Today, the married couple of nearly four years have two daughters, Lincoln, 4, and Delta, 2.

The actress also revealed that Shepard surprised her with a bell tattoo on his ring finger alongside the initials of his daughters.

“Can I tell you this my husband surprised me, he doesn’t like jewelry of any kind he like can’t handle it, he surprised me one random evening he came home with a bell tattooed on his ring finger with my initial, our first daughter’s initial and our second daughter wasn’t born yet but he put a D, so we were a little cornered and we named her Delta,” she explained. “He really wanted to name him Delta but he put all three of our initials on a bell. I think that’s cute.”
