]]>Swagger is inspired by Kevin Durant’s experiences during his years as a youth basketball player. It centers on the aspiring basketball star Jace Carson (Isaiah Hill) who must battle opponents on and off the court in an attempt to achieve his NBA dream, with the help of his coach, Ike (O’Shea Jackson Jr).
Swagger creator Reggie Rock Bythewood announced the show’s cancelation on social media and said he’s proud of telling a story he cares deeply about.
“Apple, while you are not ordering a season three, I made the show I wanted to make. Thank you for that. Cast, writers, and crew, you have my gratitude. Walk off the set with Swagger. For our FAMbase, you lifted us in ways we could have never imagined,” wrote Bythewood.
In addition to Jackson Jr. and Hill, this series also starred Shinelle Azoroh, Quvenzhané Wallis, Caleel Harris, James Bingham, Solomon Irama, Ozie Nzeribe, Tessa Ferrer, Tristan Mack Wilds, and Jason Rivera-Torres.

]]>Christensen’s return in the role of Darth Vader has been confirmed back in December. In early March, the Game of Thrones actress Indira Varma joined the series in an unspecified role, before the cast list was expanded even further, to include a couple of familiar faces.
Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse are set to return as Luke Skywalker’s Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, who first appeared in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. They took care of baby Luke after Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side and eventually became Darth Vader.
The cast of this highly-anticipated series will also include Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. Obi-Wan Kenobi will start filming later this month, and its official release date is yet to be revealed.
