Outer Banks creators and executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke confirmed the show’s renewal for Season 5 and promised a great conclusion to this epic story.
“[We} are turning to Season Five, in which we hope to bring our beloved Pogues home in the way we imagined and planned years ago. Season Five will be our last season, and we think it will be our best yet. We hope you’ll join us for one more paddle out to the surf break,” said the trio in a statement.
Outer Banks is set in a small coastal town in North Carolina, where a group of working-class local teens known as the Pogues is trying to find a mysterious treasure while feuding with a rival group of wealthy seasonal residents, known as the Kooks.
Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Carlacia Grant, Drew Starkey, Austin North, and Fiona Palomo lead the ensemble cast of this series. The second part of its fourth season will premiere on Netflix on November 7.
