P!nk discussed their collaboration during Zane Lowe’s radio show World Record and said they felt like a natural fit. They brought their unique experiences to this song and used it to pay tribute to the circle you create around you to help you get through all the hardships in this world.

“I love everything about him. I met him for the first time at the MTV Awards a couple of years ago. He has the greatest smile you’d ever wanna see. He’s just super genuine and super excited,” said P!nk.

Pink will become the first non-British artist to receive the award, which will recognize her chart-topping ­success in the past two decades and the fact that she is one of the best-selling female music acts in the country. The news was announced Thursday by The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The 39-year-old musician is recognized in the recording category and will receive the 2,656th star on Hollywood Boulevard. The ceremony will take place on February 5, at 11:30 a.m. Pink will be honored by soon-to-be fellow Walk of Famer Ellen DeGeneres.

Pink revealed that she and Aguilera have put their rivalry in the past.

“Want to point out an awful new phenomenon of the last 10 years. We can no longer be happy for each other,” she wrote. “I Xtina, we’ve made amends…. Music brings us all together. The best part of music is — there’s room for everyone to win at the same time. Don’t be what’s wrong w/da world. Let’s be an example of inclusion and celebration. Pink had been vocal about her shaky past with Aguilera. In a VH1 Behind the Music special released in 2009, the “What About Us” singer revealed the enmity’s source.
