Sam Smith and boyfriend Brandon Flynn made a sort of announcement that they are going steady uploading a silly snap of themselves to the social media platform.

With no official confirmation of the relationship as of yet, the singer and 13 Reasons Why star have been linked romantically since the fall. A snap of the two sharing a kiss and walking arm to arm in New York City definitely fueled the relationship speculations. Then came Smith’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show where he confirmed to the daytime host that he is no longer single.

“It’s weird bringing out an album and not being single, ’cause when I brought In the Lonely Hour, I was so lonely,” Smith admitted, “but now I’m singing songs about another guy, and I’m quite happy, so it’s quite weird.“

Flynn took to Instagram Thursday and shared the first photo of himself and Smith together, both sporting sport blue-and-pink unicorn travel pillows. He captioned the adorable snap “Rare sighting in London.” Whether he was referring to the sighting of unicorns or the couple’s sighting, the two simply couldn’t look cuter!

Just last week, the former couple were spotted hanging out at Gomez’s home in Studio City, California. The two stars enjoyed an evening together among a group of mutual friends from their church. A source confirmed to ET that the reconnection is strictly platonic.

25-year-old Gomez and 23-year-old Bieber dated on and off from 2011 to 2015. Sources told ET that the duo “are not dating [and] it’s nothing romantic. Justin and Selena are just friends right now. They reconnected and, right now, Justin wants to be a good friend to her. At least for now, it’s a friendship.”

Miley reveals in an interview with Cosmopolitan, that the fact that they were able to find their way back to each other, proves that love can sustain plenty of ups and down. She also speaks of how her second engagement to Hemsworth in January 2016 was possible because of something that she learned from her parents’ marriage.

The singer said her parents Tish and Billie Ray taught her that relationships are a dynamic journey, where neither counterpart will remain the same person as when they entered the relationship.

Tish and Billie Ray’s marriage has seen its fair share of ups and downs as well. Filing for divorce in 2010, dropping it a year later, only to file again in 2013 with another reconciliation a month later with the help of couples therapy.

Miley said that her parent’s relationship showed her that even when in a relationship you need time for yourself to grow. It’s all a part of a journey for the 24-year-old who wants to celebrate the truest kind of love.
