Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas not only got engaged in 2018 but they also got married! Two months into their whirlwind romance Jonas popped the question and Chopra said YES!. Their wedding was a series of elaborate events over several days in India. And of course, multiple events mean multiple bridal outfits including a custom Ralph Lauren gown with a 70-foot veil!

Emily Ratajkowski surprised us all as she went from single in January to a married woman in February. Ratajkowski and actor and producer Sebastian Bear-McClard wed in a super low-key ceremony in a New York City courthouse. News of their wedding was announced with a single Instagram post, which simply read “ny.”

Our last pick for biggest celebrity wedding of 2018 is Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk’s nuptials. The two wed in September. The affair was kept under wraps and the couple was super private about their special day. Lucky for us, the actress shared a single snap of their Hamptons ceremony on Instagram.

Princess Eugenie of York and beau Jack Brooksbank are set to tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, England, in October.

The couple will say their ‘I do’s’ at the same chapel Price Harry and Meghan Markle wed just last May on the morning of Friday, October 12. According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple is holding a two-day reception, the first a formal, black-tie event. Then, on Saturday, they will have another party. According to The Times, it will be much more relaxed and laid-back. A source told the outlet that “there will be dodgems and funfair rides, coconut shies, lots of food stalls, loads of cocktails, Bloody Marys for the hangovers and a festival vibe.”

According to a series of tweets shared on the Royal Family’s official account, during the service, The Archbishop of York has written a personal prayer. The Dean of Windsor will give the Address and officiate as the couple makes their marriage vows and Andrea Bocelli will perform two pieces during the Service. 

The couple has chosen London-based cake designer Sophie Cabot to make their wedding cake. She will design a red velvet and chocolate cake, inspired by the rich colors of autumn.

It looks like Eugenie is handling wedding planning like a pro telling British Vogue that she’s “not stressed” at all. “It’s very nerve-wracking because you want it to be perfect,” she explained, “but then you realize that you’re going to be with the person you love forever and nothing else really matters.”

The couple announced their engagement in January, after eight years together.

This year was filled with big celebrations for the royal family: the Queen celebrated the 65th anniversary of her coronation, Prince Williams and Kate Middleton welcomed their third child and second son and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wed. 

But the summer will bring with it another royal wedding (no not that of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank), and it will be historic. 

The Queen’s cousin, Lord Ivar Mountbatten is set to marry his long-term partner, James Coyle, making history as the first-ever same-sex marriage in the history of the Royal family.

The first member of the extended royal family to have a gay wedding spoke with the Daily Mail of his upcoming nuptials: “I really wanted to do it for James. He hasn’t been married. For me, what’s interesting is I don’t need to get married because I’ve been there, done that and have my wonderful children; but I’m pushing it because I think it’s important for him. James hasn’t had the stable life I have. I want to be able to give you that.”

Mountbatten was married to Penny with whom he shares three daughters, Ella, 22, Alix, 20, and Luli, 15. Mountbatten also told the outlet that his daughters couldn’t be more excited about the wedding. 

“When I mentioned it to our eldest daughter, Ella, she said, ‘Oh Pap, it’s not a big deal. It’s so normal nowadays’. Of course that generation, they’re completely cool about the concept of this… We’ll be pronounced partners in marriage, but the ceremony itself will be very small. It’s just for the girls and close family and friends.”

This wedding is set to place later this summer at a private chapel in Devon, England.

Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle in St. George Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday in a true fairytale wedding. The two exchanged vows and said their ‘I do’s’ in front of approximately 600 guests, and millions of onlookers worldwide of course. 

It was a day of celebration for the British monarchy that saw their beloved Price be united in holy matrimony with the woman he loves, officially crowned as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. 

The star-studded event included guests from across the Atlantic as well as the local elite. Appearances in the wedding included the bride’s sister in law’s family, the Middletons of course, with a pregnant Pippa looking absolutely glowing in a pastel floral dress. Also in attendance was Oprah Winfrey in a powder pink ensemble with a wide-brimmed hat to match. A-listers George and Amal Clooney, as well as David and Victoria Beckham, also came to celebrate with the couple on their big day. Victoria looked gorgeous clad in a navy dress and fascinator, complete with a slick ponytail. After being snubbed by Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, Sarah Ferguson, mother of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice was is attendance looking better than ever. 

Markle’s Suits co-stars were practically all there supporting their former cast-mate as she tied the knot, including Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams (and wife Troian Bellisario), Gina Torres, Abigail Spencer and Jacinda Barrett. 

Markle looked breathtaking walking down the aisle in a Givenchy wedding gown. The classic design by Clare Waight Keller included a high open neckline that showed off her shoulders. She accessorized with Cartier earrings and bracelet. Markle chose to borrow the Queen Mary’s Filigree tiara and completed the look with an elegant pulled-back updo. Her wedding ring was gifted by the Queen.

As her father was unable to attend, Markle was escorted down the aisle by her father-in-law and future kind of England, Prince Charles.

The two opted for a very modern ceremony which in many ways parted with tradition. After the 1-hour ceremony, the two stepped out on the steps of the Chapel, for their very first kiss as husband and bride.

The ceremony was followed by a more intimate event, an evening wedding reception hosted by the Queen. The newlyweds left Windsor Castle and headed to Frogmore House for the evening festivities, in a  gorgeous 1968 Jaguar. For the reception, Markle chose a Stella McCartney design that featured a halter neckline and an A-line silhouette. She completed the look with a tighter up-do and accessorized with an aquamarine cocktail ring gifted to her from Prince Harry, from his late mother’s jewelry collection.

It was a day filled with genuine love and intimacy as Prince Harry’s face was full of emotion as he first saw his bride walking down the aisle. When the two finally met, his first words to her were “you look amazing.” The couple could barely contain their excitement when the Dean of Windsor spoke of in her service of children as “the foundation of family life.”

It was a true fairytale wedding and definitely one for the books.

Buckingham Palace shared images of the Queen’s notice of consent for Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle.

The handwritten document is drafted by the Crown Office and written on vellum, material that is used only for important state documents. 

The notice is of intricate design, explained by a statement released by Buckingham Palace.

The couple announced their engagement on November 27, 2017. Their wedding will take place on May 19 in Windsor Castle, in the oldest an official residence of the Queen. After their ‘I do’s’ the newlyweds are scheduled to leave the Castle in a carriage for a two-mile procession.

Just days after Kensington Palace released more details about the highly anticipated event, a source came forward and revealed new information. Entertainment Tonight reports that singer Ed Sheeran has been asked to perform at the upcoming royal wedding.

Interestingly enough, being asked doesn’t mean that the 26-year-old will actually take part in the royal wedding. The “Shape Of You” singer still needs to accept the gig. Doesn’t look like he’d turn the couple down after teasing the idea of performing at the wedding in December. Sheeran spoke with ET where he jokingly said that he would play the ceremony “if I was free.”

As he’s only met Prince Harry once at the Queen’s 2011 Jubilee, it might be safer to assume that we’re likely to see him at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, perhaps as compensation for the sword incident with princess Beatrice!

After announcing their engagement in November, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that the wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19. Now the palace has confirmed what time the ceremony has been set to — 12 p.m.

The Palace uploaded a number of tweets each revealing a different piece of information about the day starting with, “Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle are hugely grateful for the many good wishes they have received since announcing their engagement. They are very much looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public.”

Then they moved on the key details of the much anticipated royal event: conducting the service and officiating the couple is The Archbishop of Canterbury, Harry and Meghan will take a carriage ride around the town, reception will be held at St. George’s Hall followed by a private evening reception for the couple and their close family and friends.

Elton John has made sure that he has no concerts planned for one particular weekend in May, that is of course the weekend the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to get married.

Announcing a scheduling conflict on Friday, the 70-year-old singer has pushed his concerts at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas that were set for Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19. Instead, the performances will take place on Sunday, May 6 and Wednesday, May 16.

John, who was very close friends with Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, has yet to confirm whether he has been invited or perhaps will he be performing at the royal wedding on May 19.

ET reported that when asked at this year’s GRAMMYs, John simply responded, “I have no idea. No one’s been invited yet.” John’s husband, however, gave a bit more of an enthusiastic answer saying, ”crossing our fingers!”

In a recent interview on ITV’s Lorraine, John spoke of how big a love Harry and Markle share.

“I spent some time with him at Google camp in Sicily last summer, and I could tell that he was totally in love.And I thought, ‘Good for you,'” Elton continued. “Both those boys seem to have be ecstatically happy and that’s all you want people to be, no matter who they are. When people get married, you want it to last. You want them to be happy. I’m happy for him. I hope they have a wonderful day.”

It’s safe to say that John’s rescheduling move, is almost as good as an official confirmation of attendance at the highly anticipated royal wedding.

Another royal wedding is on the way with Princess Eugenie announcing her engagement to Jack Brooksbank.

Prince Harry is no longer the only member of the royal family planning a wedding as the 27-year-old Princess, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is engaged to be married in the fall at George’s Chapel in Windsor.

The two have been going steady for seven years, meeting for the first time during a ski trip in 2010, when a proposal finally happened earlier this month. The couple was visiting Nicaragua when they stopped beside a beautiful lake at dusk when Brooksbank popped the question.

“The lake was so beautiful,” the Princess of York explained. “The light was just a special light I had never seen. I actually said, ‘This is an incredible moment,’ and then he popped the question, which was really surprising even though we’ve been together seven years. [It was a] complete surprise. But it was the perfect moment, we couldn’t be happier. We knew it was going to end up this way.”

Brooksbank chose to propose without a ring, knowing that Eugenie would like to design it herself.

“I found a ring in a jewelers and then proposed to Eugenie without it,” Brooksbank explained. “[When we] came back, we designed the diamonds around this padparadscha sapphire…And what’s amazing about it is that it changes color from every different angle that you look at it, which is what I think of Eugenie—that she changes color and is just so amazing.”

Princess Eugenie’s mother, Fergie, simply couldn’t hold in her excitement taking to Twitter to share the happy news with her fans.

“Total joy!! #engagement,” she wrote along with a photo of the couple. On the pic she wrote, “A total embrace of goodness and joy. We love Jack and I am so excited to have a son, a brother and a best friend. Eugenie is one of the finest people I know and so together it will be pure harmony.” The Duchess’ ex-husband, Prince Andrew, retweeted her sentiments on his own account.

according to Deadline, The film titled Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story will chronicle the British Prince and American Actress’ courtship and relationship.

It has been reported that Lifetime’s head of programming Liz Gateley spoke of the film at the Television Critics Association event Sunday. The film will most likely give a timeline of the couple’s relationship from the very beginning when they were first linked romantically, to the most recent developments in their relationship which earned them global media attention.

While the network has yet to confirm a premiere date for the TV movie or who will portray the duo, EW reports that casting is underway.

This won’t be the first time the network is creating a movie based on a royal romance. Lifetime’s previous TV movie featured the love story of Prince Harry’s brother, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Their film aired 11 days before they said their ‘I dos’ in 2011 so it’s safe to say that a pre-wedding release date is most likely.

Deadline also reported that Menhaj Huda will direct the movie and that Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss will executive produce the film.

Harry and Meghan are scheduled to tie the knot May 19, 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The couple announced their engagement on November 27, 2017. Their wedding will take place on May 19 in Windsor Castle, in the oldest an official residence of the Queen. After their ‘I do’s’ the newlyweds are scheduled to leave the Castle in a carriage for a two-mile procession.

Just days after Kensington Palace released more details about the highly anticipated event, a source came forward and revealed new information. Entertainment Tonight reports that singer Ed Sheeran has been asked to perform at the upcoming royal wedding.

Interestingly enough, being asked doesn’t mean that the 26-year-old will actually take part in the royal wedding. The “Shape Of You” singer still needs to accept the gig. Doesn’t look like he’d turn the couple down after teasing the idea of performing at the wedding in December. Sheeran spoke with ET where he jokingly said that he would play the ceremony “if I was free.”

As he’s only met Prince Harry once at the Queen’s 2011 Jubilee, it might be safer to assume that we’re likely to see him at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, perhaps as compensation for the sword incident with princess Beatrice!

After announcing their engagement in November, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that the wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19. Now the palace has confirmed what time the ceremony has been set to — 12 p.m.

The Palace uploaded a number of tweets each revealing a different piece of information about the day starting with, “Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle are hugely grateful for the many good wishes they have received since announcing their engagement. They are very much looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public.”

Then they moved on the key details of the much anticipated royal event: conducting the service and officiating the couple is The Archbishop of Canterbury, Harry and Meghan will take a carriage ride around the town, reception will be held at St. George’s Hall followed by a private evening reception for the couple and their close family and friends.

Elton John has made sure that he has no concerts planned for one particular weekend in May, that is of course the weekend the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to get married.

Announcing a scheduling conflict on Friday, the 70-year-old singer has pushed his concerts at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas that were set for Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19. Instead, the performances will take place on Sunday, May 6 and Wednesday, May 16.

John, who was very close friends with Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, has yet to confirm whether he has been invited or perhaps will he be performing at the royal wedding on May 19.

ET reported that when asked at this year’s GRAMMYs, John simply responded, “I have no idea. No one’s been invited yet.” John’s husband, however, gave a bit more of an enthusiastic answer saying, ”crossing our fingers!”

In a recent interview on ITV’s Lorraine, John spoke of how big a love Harry and Markle share.

“I spent some time with him at Google camp in Sicily last summer, and I could tell that he was totally in love.And I thought, ‘Good for you,'” Elton continued. “Both those boys seem to have be ecstatically happy and that’s all you want people to be, no matter who they are. When people get married, you want it to last. You want them to be happy. I’m happy for him. I hope they have a wonderful day.”

It’s safe to say that John’s rescheduling move, is almost as good as an official confirmation of attendance at the highly anticipated royal wedding.

Another royal wedding is on the way with Princess Eugenie announcing her engagement to Jack Brooksbank.

Prince Harry is no longer the only member of the royal family planning a wedding as the 27-year-old Princess, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is engaged to be married in the fall at George’s Chapel in Windsor.

The two have been going steady for seven years, meeting for the first time during a ski trip in 2010, when a proposal finally happened earlier this month. The couple was visiting Nicaragua when they stopped beside a beautiful lake at dusk when Brooksbank popped the question.

“The lake was so beautiful,” the Princess of York explained. “The light was just a special light I had never seen. I actually said, ‘This is an incredible moment,’ and then he popped the question, which was really surprising even though we’ve been together seven years. [It was a] complete surprise. But it was the perfect moment, we couldn’t be happier. We knew it was going to end up this way.”

Brooksbank chose to propose without a ring, knowing that Eugenie would like to design it herself.

“I found a ring in a jewelers and then proposed to Eugenie without it,” Brooksbank explained. “[When we] came back, we designed the diamonds around this padparadscha sapphire…And what’s amazing about it is that it changes color from every different angle that you look at it, which is what I think of Eugenie—that she changes color and is just so amazing.”

Princess Eugenie’s mother, Fergie, simply couldn’t hold in her excitement taking to Twitter to share the happy news with her fans.

“Total joy!! #engagement,” she wrote along with a photo of the couple. On the pic she wrote, “A total embrace of goodness and joy. We love Jack and I am so excited to have a son, a brother and a best friend. Eugenie is one of the finest people I know and so together it will be pure harmony.” The Duchess’ ex-husband, Prince Andrew, retweeted her sentiments on his own account.

according to Deadline, The film titled Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story will chronicle the British Prince and American Actress’ courtship and relationship.

It has been reported that Lifetime’s head of programming Liz Gateley spoke of the film at the Television Critics Association event Sunday. The film will most likely give a timeline of the couple’s relationship from the very beginning when they were first linked romantically, to the most recent developments in their relationship which earned them global media attention.

While the network has yet to confirm a premiere date for the TV movie or who will portray the duo, EW reports that casting is underway.

This won’t be the first time the network is creating a movie based on a royal romance. Lifetime’s previous TV movie featured the love story of Prince Harry’s brother, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Their film aired 11 days before they said their ‘I dos’ in 2011 so it’s safe to say that a pre-wedding release date is most likely.

Deadline also reported that Menhaj Huda will direct the movie and that Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss will executive produce the film.

Harry and Meghan are scheduled to tie the knot May 19, 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
