Looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to have a ‘perfect’ first dance as husband and wife!
Just days after Kensington Palace released more details about the highly anticipated event, a source came forward and revealed new information. Entertainment Tonight reports that singer Ed Sheeran has been asked to perform at the upcoming royal wedding.
Interestingly enough, being asked doesn’t mean that the 26-year-old will actually take part in the royal wedding. The “Shape Of You” singer still needs to accept the gig. Doesn’t look like he’d turn the couple down after teasing the idea of performing at the wedding in December. Sheeran spoke with ET where he jokingly said that he would play the ceremony “if I was free.”
As he’s only met Prince Harry once at the Queen’s 2011 Jubilee, it might be safer to assume that we’re likely to see him at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, perhaps as compensation for the sword incident with princess Beatrice!
