Chalamet is no stranger to hosting SNL, and we’ve already seen him do this twice in the past. He made his hosting debut in 2020 and returned to that iconic stage in 2023 while doing promo for Wonka, but the third time will definitely be the charm because he’ll also serve as the musical guest, as well.
Chalamet’s SNL appearance is a part of his promo tour and Oscar campaign for the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown. He received nods for many major accolades for his portrayal of the legendary musician, including the Golden Globe, SAG Award, and Critics’ Choice Award.
Chalamet will pull double duty on January 25, following in the footsteps of Dave Chappelle, who’s hosting on January 18, with the musical guest GloRilla. Saturday Night Live is yet to announce the rest of its winter lineup, while also gearing up for a three-hour celebratory 50th anniversary special retrospective, taking place on February 16.

Kristen Wiig is a Saturday Night Live veteran, and she’ll return to her old stomping ground on April 6. She’ll join the Five-Timers Club with her upcoming appearance, and the recent six-time Brit Awards winner Raye will hit the stage by her side as a musical guest.
Wiig will soon appear in the Apple TV+ period comedy Palm Royale alongside Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and Leslie Bibb. The series will feature a total of ten episodes, set to debut on March 20 with the first three episodes.
Gosling, who recently stole the show at the Academy Awards with the electrifying performance of “I’m Just Ken” from Barbie, will hit the SNL stage on April 13. This will mark his third time hosting and country superstar Chris Stapleton will join him as the next musical guest.
Gosling’s SNL hosting duty will be a part of the promo for his upcoming film The Fall Guy. This action comedy received positive reviews at SXSW ahead of its theatrical release on May 3, and it will also star Emily Blunt, Winston Duke, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, Stephanie Hsu, and Teresa Palmer.

Edebiri has been pretty busy picking awards since the start of 2024, and we’ve seen her collect Golden Globe, Critics Choice Award, and Emmy this month—all in one week! Shortly after this impressive trophy sweep with her hit show The Bear, the young actress has been invited to make her hosting debut on SNL.
In addition to being one of the busiest stars in Hollywood last year, with about a dozen credits to her name in 2023 alone, Edebiri has an extensive comedy background. Before finding success with The Bear, she did stand-up comedy and served as a writer on a number of comedy shows, from Netflix’s Big Mouth to Apple’s Dickinson.
Edebiri will host Saturday Night Live on February 3, and she’ll be joined by the musical guest Jennifer Lopez. J.Lo is somewhat of an SNL veteran, and she’s returning to 30 Rock to promote her upcoming album This Is Me… Now, set to hit the shelves on February 16.

Davidson has been an SNL member since 2014 and he transformed into one of its biggest stars in the years to come. He said his goodbyes on Weekend Update and appeared in the parody rap song “Forgot About Lorne” alongside Eminem.

“Out of nowhere, Eddie saved Saturday Night Live, ” comedian Chris Rock said during the NBC show’s 40th-anniversary special. “If Saturday Night Live hadn’t hired Eddie Murphy, this show wouldn’t have lasted half as long as Baywatch.”
But Murphy hasn’t returned to the SNL stage since he left in 1984 to peruse a movie career. Until now. SNL announced part of its fall slate of hosts and musical guests on Monday, a list that includes Murphy as host of this year’s Christmas episode.
SNL returns for its 45th season on September 28.
Sandler will make his hosting debut on May 4, alongside returning musical guest Shawn Mendes. He served as a writer and cast member on Saturday Night Live between 1990 and 1995, when he was fired by NBC.

While the hosting gig will be the Brit’s first-ever, it will be a fourth for the American actress. Harington’s SNL stint comes just days before HBO’s acclaimed fantasy drama’s final season premieres.
According to Deadline, the musical guest for Harington’s episode will be Sara Bareilles; BTS will make their SNL debut on the Stone-hosted episode on April 13.

]]>A few months ago, it would have seemed that Sandra Oh is an odd choice for a host, but not anymore. Her comedic talent was on full display during this year’s Golden Globe ceremony, which she co-hosted with Andy Samberg.
We wouldn’t mind seeing this Saturday Night Live veteran popping up in one of the sketches during Oh’s episode. They proved to be a terrific comedic duo, and most viewers will probably be waiting for Samberg to make a cameo since the former cast members of this sketch show do it quite often.
Oh will make her Saturday Night Live debut on March 30 – only a week before the second season of her show Killing Eve premieres on BBC America. Tame Impala will join her as musical guest.
