Acting legend Tom Hanks proved once again that he’s a legend for a good reason. Over the past weekend, he has helped a young couple get engaged at the Texas Book Festival held in Austin.

Hanks was at a talk about his latest book, Uncommon Type: Some Stories on Saturday. During the Q&A, Hanks read out a question he got from a man named Ryan McFarling: “Here’s Ryan’s question, and it’s for Nikki Young…’Nikki, will you marry me?'”

Nikki said yes in front of the actor and 1,000 other people.
