]]>With 35.6 million streams, 14.1 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 6,000 sales during its latest week on the chart, “Too Sweet” became Hozier’s first No. 1 hit in the US. It previously topped the charts in the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
“Too Sweet” was released on March 22, as one of four songs from Hozier’s EP Unheard, a companion piece to his latest studio album Unreal Unearth. It initially debuted at No. 5 and became Hozier’s first top-ten hit in the US since “Take Me to Church”.
Hozier thanked fans for helping “Too Sweet” top the charts in a video on social media and said he’s been “both thrilled and taken massively by surprise by such a staggering reaction” to this song.
It was also a big week for Sabrina Carpenter on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her new single “Espresso” is the highest-charting new entry at No. 7 and her first song to ever enter the top ten.

]]>The Movie Critic was supposed to be set in 1977 California and center on the cynical movie critic who used to write for an adult magazine. This film was supposed to reunite Tarantino with Brad Pitt, the star of Inglourious Basterds and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, in addition to starring several actors from the director’s previous films.
Despite being one of the buzziest new projects on the block, The Movie Critic is no longer happening. Tarantino reportedly had a change of heart after rewriting the script and decided to scrap it entirely.
Whatever movie Tarantino decides to do next it will be his tenth and most likely final project since he’s been dropping hints about his potential retirement for years.
“I don’t believe you should stay onstage until people are begging you to get off. I like the idea of leaving them wanting a bit more. I do think directing is a young man’s game, and I like the idea of an umbilical cord connection from my first to my last movie,” he told Deadline in 2014.

Nicola Coughlin and Luke Newton will be back as Penelope and Colin, with Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, and Ruth Gemmell also returning. They’ll be joined by several newcomers to the ton, including Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips, and James Phoon.
The next season of Bridgerton will be split into two chapters – Part 1 will premiere on May 16, while Part 2 will premiere on June 13.

Amazon is keeping the plot details under wraps, and it remains unclear if this series will reunite us with Elle Woods or if it will simply be set in the same universe as the original movie. Deadline reports that Amazon is plotting a second potential spin-off, but this project is still in the “idea stages”.
Legally Blonde follows the adventures of Elle Woods, who decides to apply for the law program at Harvard University to spite her ex and prove to the world she has what it takes to become a successful lawyer. The film produced a sequel Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, a successful Broadway musical, and television film Legally Blondes, and its third sequel is currently on the way.

]]>Rumors about the potential ending of Euphoria started circling online in the past few days, and HBO was quick to address them. They released an official statement saying they “remain committed to making an exceptional third season”, while also allowing the cast to pursue other projects in the interim.
This is the cause for concern given the show’s high school setting and the busy schedules of its star-studded cast. Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, and Hunter Schafer all found success with other projects since Season 2 wrapped up, while Colman Domingo even received an Oscar nod for his recent performance in Rustin.
Season 3 will also be overshadowed by the absence of two main cast stars – the late Angus Cloud who passed away last year, and Barbie Ferreira who left the show after Season 2. Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, Nika King, and Storm Reid also starred in the previous two seasons.
The future of Euphoria will remain in limbo while its creator Sam Levinson works on the scripts, but HBO is still staying committed to the 2025 release date for Season 3.

]]>The first cover Beyoncé shared with the world is a direct reference to its predecessor Renaissance. Both covers show her riding a horse, but she’s wearing a red, white, and blue outfit this time around, paired with a cowboy hat and boots, while an American flag waves in her hands.
Beyoncé also unveiled an alternative cover, which sees her wearing a sash that reads “Act II Beyoncé” instead of “Cowboy Carter”. She’s rocking a braided hairstyle and smoking a cigar against a black background on the second cover.
Beyoncé also shared a lengthy statement explaining that her new album is a clapback to being told she doesn’t belong in country music. She described it as a “Beyoncé album” and not just a country album, and promised it has some amazing collaborations in store.
“I have a few surprises on the album and have collaborated with some brilliant artists who I deeply respect. I hope that you can hear my heart and soul, and all the love and passion that I poured into every detail and every sound,” she explained.
Cowboy Carter will hit the shelves on March 29, and its release was preceded by singles “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em”.

In addition to Hader (Barry) as The Cat, the voice cast of this project will also include Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live), Xochitl Gomez (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), Matt Berry (What We Do in The Shadows), and Paula Pell (Girls5eva).
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation president Bill Damaschke said they’re overjoyed to take audiences of all ages on an adventure into the beloved world of The Cat in the Hat.
“With this incredible voice cast led by Bill Hader as the fun-loving, agent of chaos himself and our filmmakers Alessandro and Erica at the helm, we look forward to sharing this Seussian cinematic spectacle with audiences everywhere in 2026!” said Damaschke in a statement.
The Cat in the Hat already has a release date and it’s scheduled to hit the theaters on March 6, 2026.

Before the full supporting cast has been unveiled, George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, and Riley Keough have been cast in the lead roles.
They’ll be joined by an impressive lineup of supporting players, starting with Baumbach’s wife and frequent collaborator Greta Gerwig. Emily Mortimer, who wrote the script for this film alongside Baumbach, will also play one of the supporting roles.
The cast will also include the likes of Oscar winner Jim Broadbent (Iris), Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers), Eve Hewson (Flora and Son), Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring), Grace Edwards (Asteroid City), Josh Hamilton (Eighth Grade), Lars Eidnger (White Noise), Stacy Keach (Nebraska), and Nicôle Lecky (Mood), among others.

]]>According to Netflix’s official logline, this project centers on Atlas Shepherd, described as “a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, [who] joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past”, only to realize that her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it.
Atlas was written for Netflix by Leo Sardarian and Aron Eli Coleite, while Brad Peyton directed it. In addition to Lopez, it will also star Simu Liu (Barbie), Sterling K. Brown (Americana Fiction), Gregory James Cohan (9-1-1: Lone Star), Abraham Popoola (Extraordinary), Lana Parrilla (Once Upon a Time), and Mark Strong (Shazam!).
Lopez previously led Netflix’s The Mother, which went on to enter the streamer’s most popular film list. It was watched by 2.8 million households in the U.S. over its debut weekend alone, and outperformed some of the streamer’s biggest hits at the time, including Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and Murder Mystery 2.
