As E! News confirms, Eric Dane will be taking some time off and pause the production of The Last Ship as he’s battling depression.
Dane’s representative said: “Eric asked for a break to deal with personal issues. He suffers from depression and has asked for a few weeks of downtime and the producers kindly granted that request. He looks forward to returning.”
The 4th season of the TV show is set to premiere this summer, and they are reportedly already filming the fifth season.
