Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” is a song that people can’t get out of their head these days. This goes for singer Kelly Clarkson as well, since she loved the song so much that she recently decided to cover it at one of her concerts.
Before singing the song at her live show in Green Bay on February 15th, Clarkson shared her appreciation for Gaga with the audience.
“It’s cool just to know that someone that talented is also really nice,” said Clarkson. “Anyway, I’ve been rooting for her for awhile. This song, I just, I love it. It’s from that movie that she’s nominated for a billion awards for, and I hope she wins… I hope I don’t suck, and if I do, I hope she doesn’t see it!”

“Shallow” is featured in Gaga and Cooper’s 2018 movie A Star Is Born, and has served as the first single from the film’s soundtrack. The song, written by Gaga, topped the charts in more than a dozen countries and racked up numerous nominations for prestigious awards. It has already won Golden Globe for Best Original Song and two Emmy awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media while being in the run for Best Original Song award at the 91st Academy Awards.
