“Killing Eve” Wins Big at 2019 BAFTA TV Awards

Killing Eve is one of our favorite crime dramas on TV right now, and the voters of the British Television Academy seem to agree. The critically acclaimed series just topped the list of winners at the 2019 BAFTA TV Awards.

After scoring a total of 15 nominations, Killing Eve managed to win three of them by the end of the night. In addition to coming out victorious in the main category (best drama series), Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw won acting BAFTAs for their performances on the show.

This year’s BAFTA TV Awards ceremony took place on May 12, and it was hosted by Graham Norton. The list of notable winners also includes Benedict Cumberbatch (Patrick Melrose) and Ben Whishaw (A Very English Scandal).
