L.A. Film Critics Association Awards: “Roma” Wins Best Picture

The 2018 LA Film Critics Association have announced their honorees.

The annual awards were announced via Twitter early on Sunday morning. 

this year’s best acting accomplishments include Ethan Hawke, who was named Best Actor for his role in First Reformed. Olivia Colman took home the Best Actress Award for her performance in The Favorurite, and Steven Yeun and Regina King won the award for Best Supporting Actor and Actress for their performances in Burning and If Beale Street Could Talk respectively.

Taking home the honors for Best Picture is Roma, which was written and directed by Alfonso Cuarón. It stars Yalitza Aparicio, Marina de Tavira, Marco Graf, Daniela Demesa, Enoc Leaño and Daniel Valtierra.

An honorary gala dinner will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City on January 12.
