]]>Adele and Sheeran will go head-to-head in each category they’re nominated in, including album and artists of the year. They’re joined by Dave and Little Simz, who also have four nominations each, and Sam Fender in both of these categories.
When it comes to the song of the year contenders, the field includes a total of 15 songs. Adele is in the running with “Easy on Me”, while Sheeran made the cut with “Bad Habits”. The list of nominees also includes “Cold Heart” by Elton John and Dua Lipa, “Clash” by Dave and Stormzy, and “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals.
There’s one thing that makes the upcoming Brit Awards ceremony different from the ones that came before it—the introduction of gender-neutral categories. The awards for British male solo artist and British female solo artist have been eliminated and replaced by the artist of the year.
2022 Brit Awards are set to take place on February 8th, 2022 at London’s O2 Arena with Mo Gilligan hosting the show.

]]>Like many of the songs on Adele’s upcoming album 30, “Easy on Me” addresses the aftermath of her divorce. It’s been written as a plea to her son, asking him for forgiveness and understanding in the wake of her separation from his father.
“I just felt like I wanted to explain to him… who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness. It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that’s a real wound for me that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to heal,” Adele previously told the British Vogue.
“Easy on Me” broke the all-time record for the most-streamed song in a single day on Spotify with 24 million global streams, in addition to earning more first-day global streams on Amazon Music than any other song in history. It serves as the lead single from Adele’s upcoming fourth studio album 30, set to hit the shelves on November 19th.

Ever since Adele hinted at an album back in May in a social media post for her 31st birthday, fans have been waiting for an official announcement.
The post reads, “This is 31…thank f—ing god. 30 tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean into it all… For the first time in a decade I’m ready to feel the world around me and look up for once… ’30’ will be a drum n bass record to spite you. Chin up, eh.”

Last month, Adele’s music manager, Jonathan Dickens told Music Week that an album was on its way, “the sooner [it comes out] the better.”
The singer is known for creating her music on her own time. Her debut album 21 was released back in 2011 and since then she’s only created one other album, 25, and a stand-alone single “Skyfall.”

Adele looked stunning in a beaded gown, channeling Kate Winslet’s character Rose DeWitt. Adele completed the look with hair and makeup, just like in the movie.
Adele shared snaps from her party on social media, taking to Instagram to thank her family and friends.
“Dirty 30! I’m not sure what I’m going to do for the next 30 years as I’ve been blessed beyond words in my life so far. Thank you to everyone for coming along for the ride the last 11 years with me. ]]>During his appearance on Ireland’s The Late Late Show the singer revealed that his dream is to join the 007 family.
The 26-year-old singer said that he had already written a theme song for the James Bond franchise saying, “With Bond, I’ve actually had a theme tune written for about three years, just in case!”
If Sheeran’s song were to be picked up by the 007 production, he will be joining other huge names in the industry including Madonna, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and Tina Turner, who have had the honor of making music for the handsome secret agent. Two recent singer-songwriters have even won Oscars for their theme songs, Adele for Skyfall and Sam Smith for Writing’s on the Wall.
The singer would not reveal the title of his Bond theme song saying that he isn’t going to say it “‘cause someone might steal it.” He then reassured fans by saying not to worry, the track “is good, is good.”
Returning as Bond for the 5th time out of a total 25 films in the franchise is Daniel Craig. The release date for the next Bond installment is November 8, however, no director, title, and other actors have not been announced yet.
