Gia Coppola is getting ready to make her sophomore film, and she already rounded up an impressive cast. Andrew Garfield will play the lead in her upcoming romance drama called Mainstream.

Coppola‘s next project has been described as an “eccentric love triangle” and a “cautionary tale of preserving your identity within the fast-moving internet age.” She wrote the script alongside Tom Stuart and should start filming before the end of the year.

Garfield isn’t the only reason to go see Mainstream once it finally hits the theaters. This intriguing love story also stars Maya Hawke, Jason Schwartzman, and Nat Wolff, who starred in Coppola’s directorial debut Palo Alto in 2013.

Gia Coppola comes from a long line of successful filmmakers, but she started paving her own path only a few years ago. Despite relatively disappointing box office performance, her first film Palo Alto impressed the critic with its terrific and truthful portrayal of teenage lives. Let’s hope Mainstream does the same thing!
