]]>The The Voice coach is super excited about hosting
“I had so much fun hosting the Billboard Music Awards last year that I’m back for more. We’re turning it up a notch this year, and I can’t wait to celebrate all of my fellow amazing artists for another unforgettable night of live music,” said Clarkson.
Billboard Music Awards will take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 1. The list of nominees is yet to be unveiled, and we still haven’t learned who’s going to perform during this three-hour long awards show.

]]>Before singing the song at her live show in Green Bay on February 15th, Clarkson shared her appreciation for Gaga with the audience.
“It’s cool just to know that someone that talented is also really nice,” said Clarkson. “Anyway, I’ve been rooting for her for awhile. This song, I just, I love it. It’s from that movie that she’s nominated for a billion awards for, and I hope she wins… I hope I don’t suck, and if I do, I hope she doesn’t see it!”
Check out the cover below.
“Shallow” is featured in Gaga and Cooper’s 2018 movie A Star Is Born, and has served as the first single from the film’s soundtrack. The song, written by Gaga, topped the charts in more than a dozen countries and racked up numerous nominations for prestigious awards. It has already won Golden Globe for Best Original Song and two Emmy awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media while being in the run for Best Original Song award at the 91st Academy Awards.

]]>“Meaning of Life is the album I always wanted to make, and I am so excited to finally be able to tour it!” said Clarkson in a statement. “Even while recording it, I couldn’t wait for people to experience the music live, to not only hear it but feel it. It has taken almost a year of planning, and I can’t wait to see y’all on the road!”
Kelly Clarkson announced the Meaning of Life Tour via Instagram as well, posting a short video of herself alongside Ballerini and Cartelli, which shows the trio singing simultaneously “Meaning of Life” track.
After her 2014’s album Piece by Piece had a lukewarm reception with the audience and critics, Kelly Clarkson decided to make a bold turn on Meaning of Life, including a lot more soul influences. It turned out to be a great decision since the record was branded as “one of her most satisfying albums.” It also had strong commercial performance, peaking at number two on the US Billboard 200 and cracking the Top 20 in seven more countries.
Meaning of Life Tour will kick off on January 24 at Oakland’s Oracle Arena and will see Clarkson touring until the last day of March when she will have the closing gig in Greenville. You can check the full dates of the tour via this link.

]]>The first-time coach came out triumphant beating the reigning champion Blake Shelton, who got six titles under his belt for the last 14 seasons.
Clarkson and Shelton made a side bet earlier this year that if Clarkson wins, the country crooner will have to call her “Queen.”
“Don’t think I’m not waiting,” Clarkson told ET after the finale’s show. “I haven’t checked my phone but I’m a hold him to it.”
Clarkson isn’t holding on that he’ll actually do that. “He ain’t even gonna say it,” she said, laughing. “He ain’t gonna follow through.”
When it got down to Tuesday’s top 2, Cartelli ended up against Britton Buchanan (coached by Alicia Keys), making this the first time in The Voice history that both final contestants had female coaches.
“It was one of those things where we were like, regardless [of what happens], a female is walking out of here a winner,” Clarkson shared. “It was really Alicia and I’s goal just to beat the cowboys. So, success!”
The 36-year-old pop diva will be defending her crown against Shelton, Adam Levine and returning coach Jennifer Hudson for the next season of The Voice.

The duo is no stranger to the show as Clarkson currently servs as coach and Hudson coached season 13, as well as serving as a coach on The Voice UK.
The two will take on Adam Levine and Blake Shelton in the hit NBC show.
The news was announced on social media by both ladies. In a video shared on the show’s official Twitter on Thursday, Hudson exclaims, “Guess who’s coming back to The Voice: Me! With my girl, Kelly! “You’ll see us together, this fall.”
“Girls against the boys! Team JHud [and] Team KC,” Clarkson added in the video. “We’re coming after you, Adam and Blake. We’re friends, but we’re future frenemies!”

“To prepare for hosting the Billboard Music Awards, I already have 20 costume changes planned,” Clarkson said in a press release. “I will be flying in like my girl P!nk, and calling Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman for jokes. Well, or I’m just gonna show up and celebrate my favorite artists and get to know a few more. Yeah, maybe I’ll go with that plan.”
Hosting the annual award ceremony will be the American Idol alum’s first time serving as an award show emcee.
With the star-studded evening just around the corner, the BBMMAs also unveiled the full list of nominations.
The show will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the first time on May 20 on NBC.

The Icon Award recognizes an artist whose profession transcends pop culture and whose music is beloved by generations of Radio Disney fans. The awards show, which will be held at the Dolby Theater, features performances by Carrie Underwood with Ludacris, Meghan Trainor, Charlie Puth, Echosmith, Marshmello, and American Idol winner Maddie Poppe. And nominees include Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Meghan Trainor, Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars.

]]>The upcoming season is brining back Oscar-winning Jennifer Hudson as coach as well as locking in Kelly Clackrson for an additional season.

]]>The new was confirmed by the network Tuesday, and the pop star shared her plans for the upcoming gig.
