Nixon’s Miranda Hobbes is on her journey of self-discovery, while navigating her complex relationship with Che (Sara Ramirez), while Davis’ Charlotte York wants to figure out who she is outside her role as a devoted mother and wife.
Season 2 will end its run on August 24, and the finale will feature a brief cameo from Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in S-x and the City.
And Just Like That… premiered on HBO Max in 2021, and it was granted renewal due to its impressive ratings despite being conceived as a mini-series. Its creator Michael Patrick King said they’re “thrilled to spend more time in the S-x and the City universe telling new stories about the lives of these relatable and aspirational characters” following the Season 3 renewal.

Kim Cattrall has confirmed she will not be involved in a third movie. The actress responded to reports that it was her diva demands that kept the third project from happening.
“To get any kind of negative press about something that I’ve been saying for almost a year of ‘No,’ that I’m demanding or a diva,” she told Piers Morgan in a recent interview.
During the interview, Cattrall admitted she never had a close friendship with her Sex and the City co-stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Davis, according to The Daily Mail.
