]]>The royal duo is expected to produce and host podcasts through their newly formed production company Archewell Audio. Their first podcast series will premiere next year, but it will be preceded by a holiday special hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
This project is expected to premiere later this month and it will feature “stories of hope and compassion from inspirational guests in celebration of the new year.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle explained their decision to start the podcast by saying they believe podcasts have the power to help us connect to one another without distraction. “With the challenges of 2020, there has never been a more important time to do so, because when we hear each other, and hear each other’s stories, we are reminded of how interconnected we all are,” the royal couple said in a joint statement.

]]>According to the couple’s official release, royal baby was delivered at 05:26 on Monday and it weighs 7-pounds, 3-ounces. They took the chance to thank the public for their “shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.”
The royal family also released an official statement, expressing their delight, and congratulations quickly started pouring in from all around the world. Prince Harry did a TV interview at Windsor Castle shortly after welcoming his newborn son, and described it as the most amazing experience.
“I’m so proud of my wife. As every father and parent would ever say, they’re baby is absolutely amazing – but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m over the moon. We’re both absolutely thrilled, and so grateful for the support of everybody out there,” said Prince Harry.
After facing the questions about baby’s name, the Duke of Sussex said they had some time to think about it, but haven’t settled on one yet. He promised the public will get to see the royal baby very soon, and we can’t wait for that moment to come.

]]>Kensington Palace announced on Monday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle), are expecting a child in the spring. The announcement said that the couple is “delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public”.
The couple tied the knot five months ago in a wedding ceremony held in Windsor Castle, near London. Prince Harry said last year that the couple intended to have a child soon. “Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future,” he told BBC News in November after they had announced their engagement.
Speculation about the Duchess’ pregnancy was first fueled by the buttoned-up outfit she wore on Friday to the wedding of Princess Eugenie.
Their baby will be seventh in line to the throne.

]]>Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly adopted a Labrador earlier in the summer. According to People, the new pup has been joining the couple at their country getaway in the Cotswolds area as well as at Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace in London.
The former Suits star is a big fan of dogs, but her move to London actually meant leaving one of her beloved furry friends behind. When she moved to London following the couple’s engagement, she left Bogart behind, a rescue dog. Bogart was given to close friends, while his companion, Guy the beagle, made the trip across the Atlantic with Markle to his new residence in London.
Queen Elizabeth is an avid lover of dogs. She was gifted her first corgi Susan when she was 18 and began a corgi breeding program after that. Just a few months ago, the monarch had to put down the last of her corgis, Willow, who was14th generation royal corgi. Prince William and Kate Middleton also have a dog named Lupo, an English cocker spaniel.
The dog’s name has yet to be announced and Kensington Palace declined to comment on the matter.

]]>Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out for celebrations of the Queen’s official birthday. The two looked lovely as they attended Trooping the Color on Saturday in London, held annually on the second Saturday of June to mark Queen Elizabeth’s official birthday.
Just three weeks after the royal wedding when the newlyweds were themselves strutted in a carriage procession, it was time for the two to join the procession that makes its way to Buckingham Palace, ahead of the Royal Family’s traditional balcony appearance.
The first was occupied by Camilla and Kate, the second carried Prince Harry and Meghan, and the third, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
The Duchess of Sussex looked absolutely gorgeous in a custom two-piece set by Carolina Herrera. However, her choice of attire broke royal protocol again as the top was an off-the-shoulder piece. The Duchess completed the look with a shiny blowout, rather than her usual messy bun.
Then came the time for Meghan’s first time on the balcony as she joined the entire royal family to watch the fly-past by the Royal Air Force. The new Duchess was hard at work marking sure she fit in with the royal family. While they were on the balcony, Meghan said to Harry, “say when” with regards to curtsying, to which he replied “now”, helping that Meghan to be in perfect timing with the rest of the family.
But it was Savannah Phillips, the Queen’s eldest great-granddaughter and Prince George who stole the show as s the older cousin took the opportunity to shush George.

]]>The new Duchess of Sussex looked absolutely stunning, in a pale pink GOAT sleeved sheath dress. She completed her look with an oversized hat by Philip Treacy, with her hair pulled back into a low bun. And in accordance with the royal protocol, she sported a pantyhose underneath her dress.
As for her husband, the Duke of Sussex donned a black tuxedo jacket with a light blue tie. Prince Harry gave a speech while her wife supported him to the side, together with Prince Charles and Camilla.
The occasion was held as a tribute to Prince Charles’ work as a patron for hundreds of organizations and charities.
“Who has not come away from a meeting with my father, their head spinning with a dozen new ideas which he wants to get underway urgently, having met a group of people or read something that has fired his imagination and started the flow of ideas,” Prince Harry said of his father.
“His enthusiasm and energy are truly infectious; it has certainly inspired William and I to get involved in issues we care passionately about and to do whatever we can to make a difference. In fact, many of the issues William and I now work on are subjects we were introduced to by our father growing up. His passion and dedication are remarkable and seeing so many of you here today, I cannot fail but to be in awe of the drive he has had for so many years, to contribute to the enrichment of society both in this country and around the world.”

]]>Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle in St. George Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday in a true fairytale wedding. The two exchanged vows and said their ‘I do’s’ in front of approximately 600 guests, and millions of onlookers worldwide of course.
It was a day of celebration for the British monarchy that saw their beloved Price be united in holy matrimony with the woman he loves, officially crowned as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The star-studded event included guests from across the Atlantic as well as the local elite. Appearances in the wedding included the bride’s sister in law’s family, the Middletons of course, with a pregnant Pippa looking absolutely glowing in a pastel floral dress. Also in attendance was Oprah Winfrey in a powder pink ensemble with a wide-brimmed hat to match. A-listers George and Amal Clooney, as well as David and Victoria Beckham, also came to celebrate with the couple on their big day. Victoria looked gorgeous clad in a navy dress and fascinator, complete with a slick ponytail. After being snubbed by Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, Sarah Ferguson, mother of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice was is attendance looking better than ever.
Markle’s Suits co-stars were practically all there supporting their former cast-mate as she tied the knot, including Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams (and wife Troian Bellisario), Gina Torres, Abigail Spencer and Jacinda Barrett.
Markle looked breathtaking walking down the aisle in a Givenchy wedding gown. The classic design by Clare Waight Keller included a high open neckline that showed off her shoulders. She accessorized with Cartier earrings and bracelet. Markle chose to borrow the Queen Mary’s Filigree tiara and completed the look with an elegant pulled-back updo. Her wedding ring was gifted by the Queen.
As her father was unable to attend, Markle was escorted down the aisle by her father-in-law and future kind of England, Prince Charles.
The two opted for a very modern ceremony which in many ways parted with tradition. After the 1-hour ceremony, the two stepped out on the steps of the Chapel, for their very first kiss as husband and bride.
The ceremony was followed by a more intimate event, an evening wedding reception hosted by the Queen. The newlyweds left Windsor Castle and headed to Frogmore House for the evening festivities, in a gorgeous 1968 Jaguar. For the reception, Markle chose a Stella McCartney design that featured a halter neckline and an A-line silhouette. She completed the look with a tighter up-do and accessorized with an aquamarine cocktail ring gifted to her from Prince Harry, from his late mother’s jewelry collection.
It was a day filled with genuine love and intimacy as Prince Harry’s face was full of emotion as he first saw his bride walking down the aisle. When the two finally met, his first words to her were “you look amazing.” The couple could barely contain their excitement when the Dean of Windsor spoke of in her service of children as “the foundation of family life.”
It was a true fairytale wedding and definitely one for the books.

The handwritten document is drafted by the Crown Office and written on vellum, material that is used only for important state documents.
The notice is of intricate design, explained by a statement released by Buckingham Palace.

“The design to the left of the text incorporates a red dragon, the heraldic symbol of Wales, together with the UK’s floral emblems – the rose, thistle and shamrock. It also features Prince Harry’s Label, including three tiny red escallops from the Spencer family Arms.”
“The design to the right of the text also includes the rose, as this is also the national flower of the United States. To either side of the rose are two golden poppies – this being the state flower of California, where Ms. Markle was born. Between the flowers is the Welsh leek, together with Prince Harry’s Label. Beneath the Label is olive branches, adapted from the Great Seal of the United States.”

The couple announced their engagement on November 27, 2017. Their wedding will take place on May 19 in Windsor Castle, in the oldest an official residence of the Queen. After their ‘I do’s’ the newlyweds are scheduled to leave the Castle in a carriage for a two-mile procession.

The event was also attended by the royal family including Her Majesty, Prince Charles, Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Andrew, Princess Anne, and Sophie the Countess of Wessex. The Queen’s husband, Prince Philip, has retired from the public life and was not in attendance.
Having the Suits star at the special day was a break in the royal protocol for the British Monarch, but this is not the first time Markle joined them in an occasion before her wedding to Prince Harry on May 19. The blushing bride-to-be was invited to spend Christmas with the family including their Christmas Day Service, according to ET.
The Commonwealth Service is the largest interfaith gathering in the United Kingdom and this year’s theme is “Towards a Common Future,” which “emphasizes how the Commonwealth can address global challenges and work to create a better future for all citizens through sub-themes of sustainability, safety, prosperity and fairness,” the Palace said in a statement.

]]>Just days after Kensington Palace released more details about the highly anticipated event, a source came forward and revealed new information. Entertainment Tonight reports that singer Ed Sheeran has been asked to perform at the upcoming royal wedding.
Interestingly enough, being asked doesn’t mean that the 26-year-old will actually take part in the royal wedding. The “Shape Of You” singer still needs to accept the gig. Doesn’t look like he’d turn the couple down after teasing the idea of performing at the wedding in December. Sheeran spoke with ET where he jokingly said that he would play the ceremony “if I was free.”
As he’s only met Prince Harry once at the Queen’s 2011 Jubilee, it might be safer to assume that we’re likely to see him at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, perhaps as compensation for the sword incident with princess Beatrice!
