]]>Other People’s Houses hails from Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder. Should it be picked up to series, the show will mark Gellar’s first TV regular role since 2013’s The Crazy Ones.
The series, based on a novel by Abbi Waxman, is described as a dramedy, “somewhere between Big Little Lies and Catastrophe.” It follows “nine people who live in Los Angeles’ Larchmont Village neighborhood.” The characters “navigate the emotional ups and downs of being parents, partners, neighbors and friends,” per The Hollywood Reporter.
Gellar’s character, a mom and social media influencer, is in the center of all the drama, after having an affair that ignites, well, the drama.

]]>The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star has only done two other series — the CW’s Ringer and CBS’ The Crazy Ones with Robin Williams. But now she’s attached to a new project currently in development titled Sometimes I Lie.
The forthcoming limited series is based on the novel of the same name by former BBC journalist Alice Feeney’s. Sometimes I Lie is an international bestseller and was released in March 2017.
Sarah Michelle Gellar has landed the lead, starring as Amber Reynolds, who wakes up in a hospital bed, unable to move. She can hear everything that’s going on, but nobody around her knowns that. If that wasn’t bad enough, Amber doesn’t remember what happened, but she does suspect her husband has something to do with it.
Ellen DeGeneres is developing the series via her A Very Good Production. Oscar-nominated writer Robin Swicord (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) will pen the big-screen adaptation. DeGeneres and Gellar are also set to executive produce. Warner Bros. TV will produce. Currently no network is attached to the series.

]]>The hit cult series premiered on television 21 years ago. The lead heroine, Buffy herself aka Sarah Michelle Geller celebrated the occasion by sharing rare behind-the-scenes photos.
The cherished memories include snaps of her co-stars David Boreanaz (Angel), James Marsters (Spike), Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn), and Seth Green (Oz).
“I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the anniversary of #btvs is the same week as #internationalwomensday,” Geller wrote in the caption. “I have always believed that the world is changed by your example, not by your opinion. We have all learned a lot from Buffy, and the best part is, that never ends.”
Geller then went on to quote her character from a season 7 episode, “From now on, we won’t just face our fears, we will seek them out. We will find them, and cut their hearts out one by one. There is only one thing on earth more powerful than evil, and that’s us.”
Happy Buffy Slay Day to all!
