He asks Doctor Strange to help him reverse the past, but his botched spell ends up opening up the multiverse and inviting old villains into Peter’s world to dire consequences.

Chaos Walking, which is based on Patrick Ness’ Chaos Walking: The Knife of Never Letting Go, started shooting in 2017 and it was supposed to be released on March 1, 2019, but the opening was set back due to reshoots.

According to Lionsgate, the dystopian film is about “two unlikely companions [who] embark on a perilous adventure through the badlands of an unexplored planet as they try to escape a dangerous and disorienting reality; where all inner thoughts are seen and heard by everyone.”

Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Ridley (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) will play lead characters, Todd Hewitt and Viola Eade. Cynthia Erivo, Mads Mikkelsen, David Oyelowo, Demián Bichir, and Nick Jonas will also star in the film.

Multiple outlets report that Knight, who made his directorial debut with last year’s Bumblebee, could be departing the film starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. 

Production on the action-adventure film, based on the PlayStation video game series, could be facing a delays due to Holland’s scheduling constrains. Holland’s Spiderman role could push Uncharted back from its current December 18th, 2020 date. In that case, Knight is unlikely to stick around.

Holland and Mark will remain attached to the project.

Onward follows two teenage elf brothers, voiced by Tom Holland and Chris Pratt, as they embark on a quest to discover if there is still magic left out there as they attempt to bring their late father back to life.

The trailer opens with footage of the magical world that the characters live in. “In times of old, the world was full of wonder and magic,” says a narrator. “But times change.” It then cuts to modern-day and elf brothers Ian and Barley. The new footage also introduces the voices of Octavia Spencer as Manticore and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Ian and Barley’s mom Laurel.

Onward will be in theaters on March 6, 2020.

Smith leads the pic’s voice cast opposite Tom Holland. The duo star as on-screen duo suave spy Lance Sterling and not quite smooth scientist Walter Beckett.

When events take an unexpected turn, “the unlikely duo are forced to team up for the ultimate mission that will require transforming Lance into the brave, fierce, majestic pigeon.”

“Pigeons are everywhere and nobody notices them. It’s the most perfect form a spy could take,” Walter tells a very distraught Lance in all his fowl glory. 

Rashida Jones as Agent Marcy Kappel, DJ Khaled as Ears, Karen Gillan as Eyes, Ben Mendelsohn and Masi Oka also star. 

The animated feature is based on Lucas Martell’s 2009 animated short Pigeon: Impossible and is directed by Troy Quane and Nick Bruno.

This heist movie will be based on Nico Walker’s debut novel of the same name. It’s a fictionalized account of his life and follows a former Army medic who turned to robbing banks to pay for his increasing medical bills and cope with his PTSD.

Tom Holland is tapped for the lead role in Cherry and this won’t be his first time working with Anthony and Joe Russo. They were responsible of casting him as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, and knew he’s the right choice from the get-go.

“We did two screen tests with the character. We were pretty vocal about who we wanted for the part. He’s fantastic. Amazing. It’s like Christian Bale in Empire of the Sun. Rarely do you see a kid carry a movie like that,” said Joe Russo.

Holland went on to reprise this role in additional four films – including Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home, which are yet to come out. He’s currently attached to a series of promising projects outside the MCU, including The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle and Chaos Walking.

This superhero flick was filmed in London, Prague, and Venice, and it sees Peter going on a school trip with his classmates. Needless to say, all hell breaks loose after Nick Fury shows up to recruit him to fight elemental creations that are tearing up London.

The leading voice stars for Pixar’s next original movie have been announced and they are  Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer.

The four will work together in the animated adventure described in the past by Pixar as a “suburban fantasy.” The film follows two teenage elf brothers (Holland and Pratt), who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still magic left in the world.

“At Pixar, we try to create stories that come from some kind of personal truth,” director Dan Scanlon said in a statement. “This film was inspired by my own relationship with my brother.”

Scanlon and producer Kori Rae couldn’t be happier with the stellar cast tapped to take part in the production.

“Chris brings equal parts huge heart and fantastic humor to his character,” said Rae, and Spencer “can do it all. We’re especially excited about the depth as well as humor that she brings to her character.”

Holland “has an infectious charm and sincerity that makes you root for him in every character he plays,” said Scanlon said and added that “there is no one funnier than Julia. But she also brings a warmth and loving side to her character.”

Onward is scheduled to hit theaters March 6, 2020.

This exciting project is actually an adaptation of the novel published by Donald Ray Pollock in 2011. His book was described as “a hauntingly intense portrait of America and a shattering vision of violence and redemption”, and it seems like the movie will have a similar tone.

The story centers on Willard Russell, military veteran who turns to prayer and religious sacrifice in hope he’ll save his dying wife. It features several colorful characters, including Russell’s bullied son Arvin, a serial killer couple Carl and Sandy, a faith-testing preacher Roy, and a corrupt local sheriff, played by Evans.

Marvel actors aren’t the only ones teaming up on the set of The Devil All the Time. This film also stars Robert Pattinson and Mia Wasikowska, who worked together on several occasions in the past. They met on the set of Maps to the Stars in 2014 and reunited for this year’s western Damsel. Production is scheduled to begin in February 2019, with Antonio Campos serving as director.
