Museum buffs and Beyoncé fans can relive the video in real life, following the Louvre’s art collection based on where the couple filmed.

It’s been just under a month since Beyoncé and Jay-Z dropped their joint album Everything Is Love. In the video, the duo position themselves among the pieces alongside a cadre of dancers. The video included 17 pieces of art, some more recognizable than others like Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. 

“I think the dancers are just so beautiful, and there’s something very sculptural about them,” Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, the choreographer behind the music video, told Pitchfork. “When they are inside of that space — just right on the stairs or suddenly moving in the group — you have the feeling that they could be those ancient mythological goddesses of the hunt or of wisdom. My projection of that was that they were embodiments of goddesses.”

According to the museum’s website the tour lasts 90 minutes and runs on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

For the first time in fifteen years, Ellen DeGeneres fans will have eight chances to see her returning to her roots, performing live behind the mic. An Evening With Ellen DeGeneres opens in August and includes locations in San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle.

During her two stops at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, DeGeneres will be taping her upcoming Netflix special, announced back in May. Back then she said in a release via the streaming giant: “It has been 15 years since I did a stand-up special. 15 years. And I’m writing it now, I can’t wait. I’ll keep you posted when and where I’m gonna shoot my Netflix special. I’m excited to do it; I’m excited for you to see it.”

Anna and Elsa will make their way across the country beginning with an official opening at the Pantages in Los Angeles. Not a lot is known about the tour as the itinerary has yet to be set and casting has yet to be announced. What is known is that the production will keep its musical direction of two-time Tony winner Stephen Oremus and conductor Dave Metzger during the tour. 

The production opened on Broadway in March and received three Tony nominations for best score, book and musical. Music for the musical was composed by the Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez duo, the book is by Jennifer Lee while Michael Grandage serves as director. 

“The only reason to expand this piece into a full-length Broadway musical was to dive much deeper into the idea of a family that can get frozen into dysfunction because of fear and shame,” Anderson-Lopez said of Frozen on-stage adaptation to The Hollywood Reporter. “To come to the theater and sit and have this analog experience with other people, allowing your emotions to really get as big as the emotions onstage, is something that we kind of need, and it can be really healing.”

The chart-topping singer-songwriter has announced that he’s going to hit the road next year for a global arena tour. “Shawn Mendes: The Tour” will be Mendes’ third major arena tour following the success of his 2017 tour. 

The tour kicks off March 7, 2019 in Amsterdam and will continue well into the summer with dates scheduled in North America, the UK, and Europe. The tour will be in support of his third album, due to drop May 25 via Island Records. 

Ticket pre-sales begin May 12, and tickets for the general public will go on sale May 19.

Pop icon Taylor Swift finally kicked off her highly anticipated Reputation stadium tour. The first show took place on Tuesday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. 

Swift opened the show with “Ready For It” and looked absolutely fierce clad in a black shimmering sequin jumpsuit paired with  a hood and matching thigh-high boots. The choreography was epic with dancers busting out moves all over the huge stage. 

Swift gave it her all belting out her greatest hits including “You Belong With Me,” “Trouble,” “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off” with her opening performer Camila Capello and Charli XX.

With outstanding stage designs that included psychedelic jumbotron, golden thrones, giant anacondas and much much more and eight costume changes, Swift definitely provided the goods giving her fans a night to remember. 

Her next stop is Santa Clara, California, for a two-night run at Levi’s Stadium.

The world tour will begin with performances in Liverpool, London, and Birmingham before traveling to major cities around the world. The tour coincides with the 10th anniversary of the publication of the first book in The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. 

The musical experience will include feature a 60-piece orchestra performing the original score by James Newton Howard from the first installment of the franchise to accompany an HD screening of the 2012 film.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z have confirmed speculations of a joint tour.

Queen B took to social media to announce that she and her beau will be touring together this summer, making it their second joint tour, appropriately titled, On the Run II. Their first joint tour, On the Run, ran from June 2014 until September of that year and intended to promote their respective albums Beyoncé & Magna Carta Holy Grail. 

Her black and white posts on Instagram included a video of the two during their first tour to the tune of Marcia Aitken’s “I’m Still in Love With You.”

The two already gave dates in the UK, Europe, and North America kicking off in the UK at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on June 6. They will then head to Europe for 11 dates, then a run of 21 dates across North America, before ending on October 2, at Vancouver, BC.

A pre-sale of tickets begins on March 14 with tickets sales to the general public beginning March 19.

The 25-year-old singer lent the stage to her friends Rayvon Owen and Shane Britney Crone’s engagement during her concert at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Friday night.

Owen, the American Idol alum was invited to the stage by Lovato, when his partner Corne surprised him, using a trapdoor onstage. Crone took Owen’s hand and proposed in front of the entire audience. Owen said yes, and the adorable duo kissed.

Lovato ran to the newly engaged couple, letting out a very excited “Yay!”

“What some of you don’t know is that these are two of my really close friends and I’ve gotten to watch Shane go through so much and come out on the other side…such a strong person who’s now found the love of his life,” she said. “I’m so happy guys. I’m so f–king happy.”

Following the proposal, Lovato performed her song “Yes” while the engaged couple sat onstage and a video montage of their love story was screened.

The singer suffered an injury over the weekend and was immediately taken to the hospital. He shared a photo of his arm on Instagram explaining what happened: “I’ve had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. With the injury, Ed won’t be able to play guitar while on tour, which is the main reason the shows might get canceled – but there was still no announcement regarding which shows will be canceled and which will go on as planned.

Smith also confirmed that he will kick off next year’s tour in Toronto on June 18. The tour’s 39 performances will then continue throughout North America, with shows scheduled in Montreal, Boston, New York, Miami and Dallas, among other venues. The tour includes two shows in Mexico with a scheduled show in Mexico City on July 27. The tour’s closing date is scheduled for September 13 in Calgary.

The Trill of it All album is available for pre-order, and tickets for the North American tour go on sale October 12.
