Multiple sources have announced the nuptials of the singer-songwriter and actor married over the weekend. According to The Guardian, the two said their ‘I do’s’ in a small ceremony in California. 

The newlyweds had two ceremonies — the first took on Young’s yacht near the San Juan islands and then another on Saturday in Atascadero. There were reportedly about 100 guests in attendance. Page Six reports that guests were asked to not bring their phones to the ceremony and instead received lockets with photos of the bride and groom.

Guitarist Mark Miller congratulated the couple of Facebook but later clarified that he “only knew about it because one of my friends attended the ceremony in Atascadero and announced it on his page.”

Hanna apparently referenced her new husband in an Instagram post on Saturday writing, “Someone’s watching over us…. love & only love.”

A year and a half after the couple, who were set up by close friends, were engaged, they said their ‘I do’s’ over the weekend. The wedding took place the Saint Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California. Swank told Vogue that the redwood grove was the perfect setting, “We found exactly what we were looking for at the Santa Lucia Preserve. It’s a stunning private community surrounded by 20,000 acres of conservancy and an intimate redwood grove populated with trees that are over 800 years old.”

The outlet also shared stunning photos of the happy couple’s outdoor ceremony. Swank opted for two gowns, the first was an Elie Saab Couture creation that featured 25 meters of Chantilly lace, eight meters of silk chiffon, and six meters of organza silk and took 150 hours to create.

I’ve loved Elie Saab for years and was thrilled to have him design my dress,” Hilary told the outlet. “I wanted something romantic that felt as timeless as the redwood grove where we were to be married, and he delivered—designing something that far surpassed my greatest expectations. The venue is the only private castle in England to have a queen buried within its grounds, Katherine Parr, the last of Henry VIII’s six wives. 

The couple has always been notoriously private about their relationship, never confirming their engagement even after Jones was spotted with a diamond ring on the red carpet in June 2017. Their nuptials, however, were confirmed by the actress’ reps.

While promoting The Theory of Everything, Jones told The Telegraph in 2014: “I am definitely romantic and I love romantic stories — that’s why I keep making romantic movies. According to the French newspaper Le Parisien, the couple said their ‘I do’s’  in a small schoolhouse town hall in Saint-Simeon, a commune located an hour west from Paris in north-central France.

According to the outlet, the couple was joined by two dozens guests. For the nuptials, Paradis donned a lacy cream-colored gown with an embroidered veil and carried a bouquet of pink roses. She completed the look with her hair down and flowers among her tresses. The guests threw flower petals as the happy couple exited the town hall.

The couple, both 31, announced their engagement in September of last year and have been together for four years at the time of their nuptials. 

The couple’s official announcement was made in The London Times. “The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harrington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire,” the announcement read.

The bride looked absolutely gorgeous in a long sleeve ivory lace wedding dress, a white flower crown and cathedral veil. The handsome groom wore a long black jacket over a cream vest, white shirt, black tie and gray pinstriped pants.

The Guardian reports that Leslie’s father spoke outside the church saying, “We are absolutely thrilled for Kit and Rose to be marrying today. It’s an absolutely lovely day for us.”
