As Wonder Woman is breaking records and earning big bucks, the director Patty Jenkins said she was ready to film a sequel.
So far, the film has earned $103.3 million in the opening weekend only, becoming the highest-grossing domestic opening for a female director. And though Jenkins would love to direct another part of the saga, Warner Bros has yet to confirm it officially.
Jenkins appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show on Thursday and said:
“We’re working on it. I hope to, I love it, I love the world, and we’re all really excited about it.”
