Christina Perri Is Engaged to Paul Costabile

Musician Christina Perri took to social media to announce her engagement to boyfriend Paul Costabile. “Paul asked me to marry him tonight and i said yes!” the “Jar of Hearts” singer tweeted on Thursday evening.

She also shared the news on Instagram with a photo of her beautiful V-shaped diamond engagement ring with the same caption.

Costabile also posted on social media a black-and-white photo showing him kissing Perri’s cheek.

“I knew I wanted to ask this girl to marry me the day she walked into the green screen for an interview almost 4 years ago. I finally asked her right here tonight and she said yes!!!” he wrote.

Perri previously dated Broadway actor Steve Kazee, whom she duets with on her 2011 hit single, “A Thousand Years,” according to People.

ET reports that the engagement news comes a day after Perri’s 2011 song “Arms” made a comeback in the iTunes Top 40 after an emotional performance of the song by a 13-year-old girl named Evie Clair on America’s Got Talent.

“ARMS just made a light comeback to the top 40 on itunes! how fun! thanks everyone,” the 30-year-old singer wrote on Instagram.

Clair wowed the AGT judges on Tuesday with her heartwarming rendition of the song, which she revealed it’s the song she sings to her dad whenever he’s having a rough time during his battle with stage-4 colon cancer.

“I sing him this song to help him feel better, and just to give him comfort and strength to continue fighting,” Clair said.

Perri expressed her gratitude to Clair on Twitter, saying, “Hi, @evieclair! thanks so much for choosing my song for this special moment in ur life! ur incredible! im sending so much love to u & dad.”
