Deadpool & Wolverine is one of the buzziest superhero films coming our way this summer, and Marvel just added some more fuel to the fire. The first full trailer for this highly-anticipated blockbuster is here and it sees Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman going head-to-head.

Deadpool & Wolverine kicks off with Wade Wilson trying to lead a peaceful life until the Time Variance Authority pulls him out of his timeline. He must embark on a mission with Wolverine and try to change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before it’s too late.

In addition to Reynolds and Jackman in the titular roles, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Brianna Hildebrand will reprise their roles from the previous Deadpool movies. They’ll be joined by Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, and Jennifer Garner.

Deadpool & Wolverine is the first Deadpool film in the MCU, and its director Shawn Levy wanted it to shine a spotlight on both characters.

“It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure,” he told Screen Rant.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be released on July 26, as a part of Phase Five of the MCU.
