Beyoncé Surprises Fans with Live Album “Homecoming”

Beyoncé’s music is a gift that keeps on giving, and every time we think she’s done surprising us, she finds a way to prove us wrong. April 17 marked the release of her concert film Homecoming, but Queen Bey went an extra mile and dropped a live album, as well.

This surprise-record, titled Homecoming, comes with a total of 40 live versions of some of her most beloved songs. To make the whole thing even better, renditions of Destiny’s Child hits “Say My Name” and “Lose My Breath” can be also found on this album!

Homecoming took the whole world by storm. The concert film showed Beyoncé getting ready for her performance at last year’s Coachella, which received universal acclaimed and has been described as a celebration of black excellence.

The 2018 Coachella set is now seen as the monumental performance of Beyoncé career. Homecoming revealed she went through a lot to make it happen since she had a hard time juggling her career and motherhood after the birth of her twins.

“Just trying to figure out how to balance being the mother of a 6-year-old, of twins that need me, and giving myself creatively and physically, it was a lot to juggle. And I learned a very valuable lesson: I will never, never push myself that far again,” concluded Beyoncé.
