Carly Rae Jepsen, who gave us one of the catchiest songs of the 21st century in “Call Me Maybe,” just announced the name and release date of her fourth studio album.
Dedicated is scheduled to be released on May 17 and that’s not the only exciting news Jepsen shared with her fans. She’ll celebrate the release of this highly-anticipated record by embarking on a tour all across the US this summer.
The singer’s fourth studio album was a long time coming since it’s been four years since her last record, Emotion, came out. Fans already got to hear a couple of singles that will be featured on her new album, including “Party For One” which perfectly encapsulates its spirit.
“’Party For One’ is an anthem of what it is to celebrate time with yourself, which is a hard thing for people to really enjoy sometimes. This song represents a lot of what this album is about for me which is romantic love but self-love too,” Jepsen explained in a statement.
