As Jimmy Fallon noticed, it seems like Donald Trump’s commencement speech at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, was inspired by Reese Witherspoon’s character Elle Woods from Legally Blonde.
The Tonight Show host wanted to prove his point so he played out several excerpts from the mentioned speeches. See the video below.
Though this was truly hilarious, we wouldn’t go that far to say he actually plagiarized Woods’ speech… right? After all, passion, courage, and conviction are often themes in commencement speeches.
