Priyanka Chopra and Mindy Kaling wanted to work together for a while – they were just waiting for the perfect project. The two stars will finally team up on the set of an exciting new comedy, which centers on a big Indian wedding.
Not much is known about the plot of this promising project, but it’s been described as a mix between Crazy Rich Asians and My Big Fat Greek Wedding – which is just enough to get us super-hyped. Mindy Kaling will write the script alongside Dan Goor, and she might even direct the movie.
Priyanka Chopra can’t wait to join forces with Kaling, especially since this movie allows them to explore their cultural heritage in a way they never did before.
