The young hit-maker recently attended the Cannes Lions festival and revealed that her next album is already on its way.

Instead of relying on her imagination, as she did in the past, Cabello was finally able to write about her personal experiences and bring a new level of detail and emotion to her music.

“For the first time on this album it’s not my imagination, it’s me writing about things that are happening in real time… It’s captured my essence of who I am right now. There are a lot of stories to tell this time around. I’ve been in my studio cave and I’m ready to bare my soul,” said Cabello.

In addition to working on this solo project, the Grammy-nominated singer recently collaborated with Mark Ronson, and she’s also recorded a song titled “South of the Border” alongside Cardi B and Ed Sheeran, which will be featured on his upcoming album.

We’ve really had one hell of a memorable journey together and can’t begin to express our gratitude to y’all for coming along with us on this wild ride!,” the group began their post. “After six years going hard, non-stop, we also realized that in order to stay authentic to ourselves and to you, we do need to take some time for now to go on a hiatus from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue solo endeavors.”

The news may not come as a shock given their recent solo activities such as Kordei’s collaboration with Khalid in “Love Lies” single last month, and Brooke signing a solo contract with Maverick/ReignDeer Entertainment last week. She will be managed by Larry Rudolph who also handles Fifth Harmony and Britney Spears. In January, Jauregui has signed as a solo artist with Columbia records. As for Jane, she released “Boom Boom” with RedOne, Daddy Yankee and French Montana in October. Only Kordei is not managed by Rudolph, she is handled by Brandon Silverstein, Variety reports.

Fifth Harmony was formed during X Factor Season 2 in 2012. They finished third place and embarked on a music career, releasing three albums: Reflection in 2015, 7/27 in 2016 and 2017’s self-titled. They reached a top 10 hit in 2016 with Work From Home single. Former member Camila Cabello left the group at the end of 2016.

Some of Swift’s previous opening acts include Shawn Mendes, Vance Joy and Ed Sheeran, who opened up her North American leg of Red tour in 2013. Mendes and Joy performed at her 1989 tour in 2015.

Swift’s 1989 tour also featured big artists such as Justin Timberlake, Mick Jagger, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Mary J. Blige, The Weeknd and Lisa Kudrow.
