]]>Multiple outlets confirm that the Emmy-winning series has been renewed for a sixth season ahead of its season 5 premiere.
After two seasons in Georgia, two seasons in Missouri, and an upcoming season in Philadelphia, the streaming giant has announced that the sixth season will return to the quintet’s homebase in Austin, Texas where they will “scour the prairie in a search for a whole new roster of heroes in need of a little TLC.”
Queer Eye stars Antoni Porowski in charge of food & wine, Bobby Berk interior design expert, Jonathan Van Ness grooming specialist, savant Karamo Brown, and fashion-forward Tan France.
The reboot of Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, first aired on Netflix in 2018.

]]>The Breaking Bad prequel series will officially come to an end after six seasons, showrunner Peter Gould and co-creator Vince Gilligan confirmed during the show’s Television Critics’ Association winter press tour panel on Thursday.
“From day one of Better Call Saul, my dream was to tell the complete story of our complicated and compromised hero, Jimmy McGill – now AMC and Sony are making that dream come true,” said Gould. “We couldn’t be more grateful to the fans and critics who are making this journey possible. Next month we start work on the sixth and final season — we’re going to do our damnedest to stick the landing.”
Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios said in a statement: “Greenlighting a prequel to one of the most iconic series in television history is one of the boldest swings that AMC has ever taken. But, thanks to the creative genius of [co-creators] Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, it has also been one of the most rewarding. It has been an absolute joy to collaborate with the extraordinarily talented team on Better Call Saul, which — five seasons in — continues to deliver some of the best storytelling and most beautifully nuanced performances on television today. ]]>History’s hit scripted drama is wrapping with the upcoming 20-episode sixth season being its last.The show is currently half way through its fifth season.
But there is some hope for Vikings fans as the series creator Michael Hirst and studio MGM Television are in talks for a possible spinoff series. Deadline reports that a new series might hail from the same creative team as the original series and would potentially continue the Vikings story.
Meanwhile, fans can expect nothing short of extraordinary from the season five finale set to air this month.
“There is an extraordinary twist right at the end of the season, which brings about a change that you just haven’t seen coming, that seemed impossible,” Hirst teased in November. “So basically, you will experience, as you watch it, very unexpected twists and turns. But right at the end, there is something that — a story changing, and you can’t see that coming.”
The sixth and final season of Vikings is expected to debut later this year.

]]>Following the news of its cancellation by Fox, NBC announced that it has picked up the series for a sixth season. Season six will consist of 13 episodes.
The news was announced by the network on Friday. Producer Universal Television initially went to Hulu in hopes of keeping the comedy on-screen, by the streaming service eventually passed.
“Ever since we sold this show to Fox I’ve regretted letting it get away, and it’s high time it came back to its rightful home,” said Robert Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment. “Mike Schur, Dan Goor, and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC and we’re all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and best cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy line-up. I speak for everyone at NBC, here’s to the Nine-Nine!”
Schur, co-creator and executive producer took to social media to share his excitement.
“Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Season 6. NBC,” he shared. “This happened because the fans of the show went berzerk. We can’t thank you — or @NBC — enough. #Brooklyn99.”
Creator Dan Goor also joined the festivities tweeting, ”Hey everyone, just wanted to say no big deal but…. NBC JUST PICKED #BROOKLYN99 UP FOR SEASON 6!!! Thanks in no small part to you, the best fans in the history of the world! Nine-nine!!!!!!!!!”

]]>The news that the show will continue to seasons five and six was confirmed by Starz.
“Fans can rest assured their beloved Claire and Jamie will be back facing new challenges, adversaries and adventures in seasons five and six as we delve into American history and continue the story of the Frasers as they settle in the New World,” Starz CEO Chris Albrecht said in statement.
Outlander is currently shooting on location in Scotland for its 13-episode fourth season which is based on the fourth book in Diana Gabaldon’s series, Drums of Autumn.
Season five and six will consist of 12 episodes each and will be based on the fifth and sixth books in the series, The Fiery Cross and A Breath of Snow and Ashes respectively.
Season four is set to premiere in November 2018.
