The 50 seconds clip gives fans a messy sneak peek at what happened to Claire Danes’ Carrie Mathison during those seven months of confinement in a Russian gulag.
The footage sees Carrie admit that she lost months of her life, only to return to her life with only broken memories of what actually happened to her there.
According to Showtime’s official description, in the eighth and final season of the show, “Kabul teams with warlords and mercenaries, zealots and spies — and Saul needs the relationships and expertise that only his protégé can provide. Against medical advice, Saul asks Carrie to walk with him into the lion’s den — one last time.”
Starring opposite Carrie is National Security Advisor Saul Berenson, played by Mandy Patinkin, as well as Beau Bridges, Maury Sterling, Linus Roache, Costa Ronin, Nimrat Kaur, and Numan Acar.

]]>Multiple outlets confirm that the episode was leaked online ahead of its Sunday night debut on the premium cabler.
This is the second week in a row that an episode of GoT was made available to watch online prior to its scheduled airing. Deadline reports that the first episode of the eighth and final season was released on DirecTV Now four hours before it was to air. This week, rumbling of the leak began on Reddit and Twitter, where users pointed out that the second episode was streaming much earlier than its slated release on Amazon Prime Video in Germany.
“We regret that for a short time Amazon customers in Germany were able to access episode 2 of season 8 of Game of Thrones,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement Sunday. “This was an error and has been rectified.”
Representatives for HBO have not responded to requests for comments.
Game of Thrones airs Sundays on HBO.

According to Deadline, the Emmy-nominated actor will portray John Zabel, a savvy Washington consultant who joins the White House as a new foreign-policy advisor to the President and a formidable opponent to Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin).
The eight and final season of Homeland will see Carrie Mathison (Danes) recovering after months of confinement in a Russian gulag. Her body is healing, but her memory remains fractured. Meanwhile, Saul has been dispatched to engage the Taliban in peace negotiations, and against medical advice, he asks Carrie to walk with him into the lion’s den — one last time.
Dancy’s credits include Hannibal, Showtime’s The Big C and Hulu’s The Path.
Season 8 of Homeland is set is to premiere late in 2019.

]]>Multiple outlets report that Arrow will end with Season Eight on The CW. The news was confirmed by the series’ executive producers in a joint statement Wednesday.
Currently the network’s longest-running DC Comics series, The superhero drama will end with a shortened season consisting of only ten episodes.
“This was a difficult decision to come to, but like every hard decision we’ve made for the past seven years, it was with the best interests of Arrow in mind,” series executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Beth Schwartz said in a statement. “We’re heartened by the fact that Arrow has birthed an entire universe of shows that will continue on for many years to come. We’re excited about crafting a conclusion that honors the show, its characters and its legacy and are grateful to all the writers, producers, actors, and — more importantly — the incredible crew that has sustained us and the show for over seven years.”
The series also stars David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Echo Kellum, Katie Cassidy, Rick Gonzalez, Juliana Harkavy, Colton Haynes, Kirk Acevedo, and Sea Shimooka.

]]>The latest installment in HBO’s very slow roll out of GoT‘s final episodes includes not one, but two treats for fans of the hit fantasy show. The cabler dropped a new teaser trailer that revealed the exact date the eighth and final season of the show is set to premiere.
HBO first “let it slip” Friday that the GoT debut date was going to be announced during the weekend. And indeed HBO announced confirmed the date on Sunday just before the Season three premiere of True Detective.
The new and official tease features Jon Snow, Aria and Sansa of House of Stark. The three roam in the family’s crypt when the come upon stone status of themselves. And that’s when the crypt begins to freeze over and the Stark’s draw their swords.
This teaser comes days after HBO released a promo, which featured the first-ever footage from the last season — an epic meeting between Sansa and Daenerys Targaryen in Winterfell.
We can now officially say — Game of Thrones returns April 14!

]]>HBO dropped the first footage from the 8th and final season of its hit series Game of Thrones and fans everywhere are losing it!
The footage was featured in a new HBO promo that aired during the 2019 Golden Globes. In the much shorter than we would have lived clip, Daenerys and Jon Snow walks up to Sansa Stark at Winterfell, and then the Lady of Winterfell says, “Winterfell is yours, your Grace” — to the Mother of Dragons!
The promo also featured a clip from another hit HBO series, Big Little Lies. The clip debuts the character played by Meryl Streep, who says”I want to know what happened that night,” over footage of a police lineup of the ladies in their gala dresses.
Game of Thrones returns for its final season in April.

]]>HBO is fueling GoT anticipation with a new celeb-filled trailer. HBO released the new promo on Wednesday featuring four celebrity super fans — Jimmy Kimmel, Kristin Chenoweth, Aaron Rodgers, and T-Pain. The four, otherwise known as “Jimmy of House Kimmel,” “Lady Kristin of House Chenoweth,” “Lord Aaron of House Rodgers” and “Sir T, House of Pain,” shared their excitement reminding fans that winter is fast approaching.
“Winter is coming,” Chenoweth said, while the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host said, “I’m thinking about getting one of these in my bathroom,” referring naturally to the Iron Throne. “Binge for The Throne,” Rodgers concluded.
Now their watch begins.

]]>HBO has finally dropped a teaser trailer for the final season of its acclaimed fantasy drama revealing that the highly anticipated season will be premiering in April 2019.
The promotional video features some of the series’ key moments including the Battle of the Bastards, Cersei Lannister’s Walk of Shame, Arya Stark witnessing the execution of her father Ned Stark, Joffrey and Tomen’s deaths and much more
“When you play the Game of Thrones, you win…or you die,” Cersei explains in the voice-over. “There’s only one war that matters… and it is here,” Jon Snow adds.
While the video does not reveal any new footage, it reads, “Every battle. Every betrayal. Every Alliance. Every risk. Every fight. Every sacrifice. Every death,” and ends with “#All for the throne.”
The final six episodes have a lot of questions to answer, and while cast and crew have been extremely careful not to reveal even the smallest of details, GoT director David Nutter let slip an interesting factoid, saying, “Season 8 episodes will all I think be longer than 60 minutes. They’ll be dancing around the bigger numbers, I know that for sure.” According to Entertainment Weekly, when Nutter was asked to describe the final season in three words, he chose, “Spectacular, Inspiring, Satisfying.”
“It’s about all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy, dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death,” co-executive producer Bryan Cogman told the outlet.

]]>Network CEO and president David Nevins confirmed Monday at the Television Critics Association press tour that Homeland will end after season eight. The series was one of Showtime’s longest-running shows.
“Homeland has been a game-changing series for SHOWTIME, as provocative about the world we live in as it is prescient,” Nevins said. “This project, arriving right at the beginning of my Showtime tenure thanks to [producers] Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon, and brought to life by a remarkable cast led by Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin, is a richly written character study that is now ready for its natural conclusion. Viewers will be rewarded by the way Alex brings Homeland home.”
Back in April, showrunner Alex Gansa told EW that season eight will probably be the show’s last, “We get to play this last season in D.C with the intention of taking us overseas for one last chapter. Season 8 will be overseas somewhere. We get to play a story with larger national stakes in season 7 and we’ll go back to a smaller intelligence-based season in 8. We get to pull out all the stops this year and then get to the emotional heart of things in season 8.” Now that the news have been confirmed he added, “Homeland has been the most joyful and rewarding experience of my career. Not many have been as lucky as me — partnered with the miraculous Claire Danes, supported to the ends of the earth by Fox and Showtime, and working in the company of some of the most gifted writers, actors, and filmmakers in the business. I am sad to see the journey coming to an end, but it is time.”
Season eight is scheduled to premier in June 2019.

]]>Ryan Murphy has decided to take AHS fans to the scariest place yet. After a haunted house, an asylum and a town run by witches the show is taking viewers to the future.
This development was revealed by Murphy Friday, at the Television Critics Association semi-annual press tour in Pasadena. According to Entertainment Weekly Murphy announced the news by saying, “All I’ll say about it is I want to go to the future—still topical, but the future, which I’ve never done.”
Does that mean space? “Not space,” Murphy clarified and added, “I pitched it to [FX chief] John Landgraf today right after his TCA panel, and he loved it, but he’s asked me not to say what it is,” Murphy added. “I told him and he fell out of his chair with joy. I think people will like it, it’s different from what we’ve done before, but I always try and do the opposite of what I’ve done on that show.”
Unfortunately for fans, no other information was revealed, yet.
