]]>Marvel’s hit Doctor Strange sequel was named the movie of 2022, defeating the likes of The Batman, Nope, Elvis, and Top Gun: Maverick to win this trophy. Its star Elizabeth Olsen picked up the remaining two awards for this movie – the female movie star and the action movie star of 2022.
When it comes to the TV categories, Stranger Things was a clear front-runner. In addition to beating smash hits House of the Dragon and Grey’s Anatomy to win the award for the show of 2022, it picked up two more trophies—the sci-fi/fantasy show and the male TV star of 2022 (Noah Schnapp).
Taylor Swift dominated the music categories, where she picked up three awards – The Female Artist of 2022, the album of 2022 for Midnights, and the music video of 2022 for “Anti-Hero”. BTS was right behind with two trophies, including the group of 2022.
The People’s Choice Awards took place on December 6 with Kenan Thompson serving as host.

]]>The one-minute teaser, titled “Welcome to California”, sees Eleven trying to fit in at her new high school. She narrates a letter to Mike, promising they’ll have “the best spring break ever”, but a montage of sinister clips promises more danger to come.
Millie Bobby Brown is set to return as Eleven, and she’ll be joined by the rest of the ensemble cast, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and many more. In addition to dropping a new trailer, Netflix also shared the titles of Season 4 episodes, starting with The Hellfire Club.
Season 4 of Stranger Things still doesn’t have an official release date, but it’s expected to premiere sometime in 2022. According to the Duffer Brothers, it will focus on a “new horror beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything…”

The last season of Stranger Things left off with Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) taking her kids and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) away from Indiana to hopefully start a new life. A recent trailer for the fourth season showed Hopper (David Harbour) alive and being held prisoner in Russia.
Ferguson has also had roles in Atlanta, Mercy Street, Bluff City Law, and The Oath.
Season 4 of the show still doesn’t have a release date.

]]>Well, we finally learned about the fate of Stranger Thing’s Hopper (David Harbour)…he’s alive and in Russia.
If you’ve watched Season 3, Hopper was presumed to be dead after he helped bring down the Russian Terminator and close the rift between the real world and the Upside Down.
The teaser, entitled “From Russia With Love,” is a 50-second clip of Hopper (noticeably thinner with buzzed hair) doing manual labor on a railway track in the snow with a group of other imprisoned men while being closely watched by Russian guards.
“We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway — and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper,” creators and showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer said.
“Although it’s not all good news for our “American”; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other. Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything,” they continued.

]]>Murder Mystery topped the list of the most-watched Netflix originals in 2019, while the third season of Stranger Things came on top of the lineup of the most popular shows on this streaming platform. New shows The Witcher, The Umbrella Academy and Dead to Me also had impressive viewership numbers.
In addition to Murder Mystery, the list of the most-watched movies in the US also included 6 Underground and The Irishman. Some of the movies that made the cut, including The Incredibles 2 and Wreck-It Ralph 2, aren’t Netflix originals, and they’ll leave this platform in the following months.

]]>Netflix has dropped a new teaser trailer for the upcoming new season of its hit supernatural series Stranger Things.
The steamy trailer jumps head first into the summer with ladies catching some rays by the pool. There’s also a new lifeguard to check out — enter the fully mulleted Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery), who’s gone from bully to summertime lifeguard.
The series stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, and Sadie Sink as Max, among others.
Season Three is set to debut on the streaming service on July 4 and according to the show’s Twitter, “One summer can change everything.”

This mysterious visual is simply here to announce “one summer can change everything”, but we’ll have to wait until the 4th of July to learn more.
A new poster for season 3 is a little bit more telling. It shows the Stranger Things kids admiring fireworks – since it’s Independence Day, after all. But not all of them seem to be impressed by the light show above Hawkins. Eleven and Will make it clear the Upside Down is still haunting them by looking back directly in our directions.
We can’t wait to see what powerful force they’re facing right now, when Stranger Things comes back to Netflix on July 4.

What makes her performance even more impressive is that she nailed it close to original and got the audience in a frenzy. You can check out the video from the concert below.
Millie Bobby Brown later went on her social media describing her experience. “It was such an amazing night,” she said in an Instagram Stories video. “It was such incredible people and such good friends and, you know, truly family. It’s such an honor to just be on stage with such talented human beings.”
“In fact, I was so comfortable. It was so insane. It was so fantastic, and I had such an amazing time,” she added.
It looks like Bobby Brown isn’t afraid of the spotlights and can rule the stage, so don’t be surprised if she starts having her own live gigs soon.
Although we are all looking forward to seeing Millie Bobby Brown in season three of Stranger Things, you’ll have a chance to catch her soon in her feature film debut. Bobby Brown is one of the leads in the highly anticipated Godzilla sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which is scheduled for release in May 2019.

]]>Season three of Stranger Things is looking at the 1985 comedy Fletch, featuring Chevy Chase for inspiration.
The news was revealed during a screening the show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on Friday by David Harbour, who plays Chief Jim Hopper.
The two time Emmy nominee told Variety, “The Duffers are so specific each year with the movies. And Fletch is one movie we get to play around and have some fun with this season, which you wouldn’t expect from Stranger Things and you wouldn’t expect from the Spielberg universe and you certainly wouldn’t expect from a darker season.”
Harbour also noted that executive producer Shawn Levy has described the upcoming season as darker, scarier and bigger, especially because of his not-so-simple relationship with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).
“Their relationship is going to get far more complex, because, you know, things happen to girls and boys when they’re 13 and 14,” he said. “A lot of changes go on in the body and in your social life, and I don’t think he’s going to handle watching her become a woman in front of his eyes very well. That’s a horrifying thing for him — maybe even more so than fighting inter-dimensional monsters.”
Stranger Things is set to return in summer 2019.
