]]>Deadpool & Wolverine kicks off with Wade Wilson trying to lead a peaceful life until the Time Variance Authority pulls him out of his timeline. He must embark on a mission with Wolverine and try to change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before it’s too late.
In addition to Reynolds and Jackman in the titular roles, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Brianna Hildebrand will reprise their roles from the previous Deadpool movies. They’ll be joined by Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, and Jennifer Garner.
Deadpool & Wolverine is the first Deadpool film in the MCU, and its director Shawn Levy wanted it to shine a spotlight on both characters.
“It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure,” he told Screen Rant.
Deadpool & Wolverine will be released on July 26, as a part of Phase Five of the MCU.

The space race never ended in this timeline and it went on for decades to come after NASA’s engineers and cosmonauts started taking bigger leaps in an attempt to catch up with the Soviets.
Apple TV+ also ordered a spin-off titled Star City, which will “explore the story from behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the cosmonauts, the engineers, and the intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program, and the risks they all took to propel humanity forward,” according to the streamer’s official synopsis.
For All Mankind co-creators Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi serve as the showrunners of the new spin-off. They were inspired to develop it after their fascination with the Soviet space program grew while they were doing research for For All Mankind.

Renée Zellweger will return as Bridget Jones, while Hugh Grant will join her as Daniel Cleaver, who was presumed dead before an Easter egg in Bridget Jones’s Baby revealed he’s still very much alive. Emma Thompson will also be back, and this trio will be joined by two new cast members – Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) and Leo Woodall (One Day).
Michael Morris (To Leslie) will direct the fourth film, while Fielding wrote the script. Her Bridget Jones book series inspired three adaptations—Bridget Jones’s Diary, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, and Bridget Jones’s Baby—which earned a total of $756 million at the global box office.

]]>Cowboy Carter has often been referred to as Beyoncé’s country album, but she makes it clear it’s more than that from the very first song. The album’s gospel-infused opener “American Requiem” sees her opening up about not feeling at home on the country scene, while also making it clear she’s here to put down roots.
Her rendition of The Beatles’ “Blackbird” sees her bringing some of country’s overlooked Black female artists on board, but it’s not even the best cover this album has in store. Her take on Dolly Parton’s classic “Jolene” created quite a splash, and her bold interpretation sees her standing her ground and warning the titular heroine to back off.
Beyoncé did a great job championing other artists on Cowboy Carter, and amazing collaborations are one of its strongest suits. She brought everyone from Dolly Parton and Linda Martell to Post Malone and Shaboozey on board, but the Miley Cyrus duet “II Most Wanted” is definitely one of its shiniest moments.
Needless to say, Beyoncé also shows the moment of brilliance all on her own. In addition to previously released singles “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages”, she gave us several more amazing songs that cement Cowboy Carter as a masterpiece, starting with “Bodyguard” and “Protector”.
At 27 songs, Cowboy Carter never feels too long, because they work in perfect harmony, seeing Beyoncé masterfully weave a story about country’s Black roots, paying homage to those who came before her and made this genre what it is. It’s a perfect reminder that there’s truly nothing she can’t do, and it’s another tour de force in her unmatched discography.

According to Variety’s recent report, most of the songs featured in this film will be familiar to the viewers because they’ll be reinterpretations of “very well-known” songs.
The film’s genre has been described as a jukebox musical, compared to Mamma Mia! and Moulin Rouge. “That’s Entertainment” from the ’50s musical The Band Wagon has been mentioned as one of the songs featured on the soundtrack, which could also feature an original song or two.
Joaquin Phoenix will return as Arthur Fleck/Joker in Joker: Folie à Deux, alongside Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. Zazie Beetz, Leigh Gill, and Sharon Washington will reprise their roles from the first film, and they’ll be joined by Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, Steve Coogan, Ken Leung, and Harry Lawtey in mystery roles.

]]>Fans of Beetlejuice have been hoping this film would return for a sequel for over three decades, and their prayers will soon be answered. Keaton is coming back as the titular hero, along with Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara as Lydia and Delia Deetz.
Burton shared the first look with the Entrainment Weekly and revealed that the new film kicks off with a death in the family. Charles Deetz (played by Jeffrey Jones) isn’t a part of the sequel cast, but Burton refused to say if his death brought the family together.
Burton admitted this project came together after Keaton agreed to return, and said it was “a weird out-of-body experience” to see him back in the iconic Beetlejuice costume.
“Unless it felt right, he had no burning desire to do it. I think we all felt the same way. It only made sense if it had an emotional hook… It was such a beautiful thing for me to see all the cast, but he, sort of like demon possession, just went right back into it,” he told Entrainment Weekly.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will come out on September 6, and its cast will also include Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, and Willem Dafoe.

Grande promoted the release of her latest LP with a new single “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)”, which immediately topped the Hot 100 chart. It earned 32.6 million streams, 4.6 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 9,000 in sales during its first week on the chart.
“We Can’t Be Friends” is Grande’s seventh single to debut atop the Hot 100 chart, and this number is quite historic. She surpasses Taylor Swift as a woman with the most No. 1 debuts on this chart.
This is the second single from Eternal Sunshine to debut at No. 1, following the success of “Yes, And?”, helping Grande become the first female artist to ever debut multiple songs from two different albums atop the Hot 100 chart.

Her set designer Es Devlin previously told British Vogue that she “wanted to reappropriate Americana and country music from a Black perspective” by incorporating cowboy-inspired imagery during the Renaissance Tour.
She’s taking things to a whole new level with Cowboy Carter, which already produced one major country hit. “Texas Hold ‘Em” was released as the album’s lead single, and it hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, in addition to transforming Beyoncé into the first Black woman with a No. 1 song on the Hot Country Songs chart.
