]]>According to Vogue’s official announcement, this year’s co-chairs are meant to reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala. Zendaya, Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Hemsworth will be joined by Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
As for the theme, “The Garden of Time” has been chosen as this year’s dress code, and it’s meant to celebrate the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”. It features approximately 250 rare items spanning over 400 years of fashion history, some too fragile to ever be worn again.
The exhibition will use the elements of video animation, light projection, AI, CGI, and other forms of sensory stimulation to make these historical garments truly pop, and we’re expecting to see a lot of dreamy and whimsical looks on the red carpet.
The 2024 Met Gala will take place on May 6 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, with Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew serving as honorary chairs.

]]>With 116,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. alone, Bad Bunny’s latest studio effort topped the Billboard 200 chart, becoming his second album in the top five this year, after YHLQMDLG.
To make the whole thing even more impressive, these are two of only four all-Spanish language albums to reach the top five in the U.S. The list also includes Mana’s Amar es Combatir and Shakira’s Fijación Oral: Vol. 1.
El Último Tour del Mundo was released on November 27th, and Bad Bunny managed to beat the likes of Miley Cyrus, BTS, and Ariana Grande to reach the top spot. He promoted its release with the hit single “Dákiti” featuring Jhay Cortez, and the music video for the song “Yo Visto Así”, which featured the cameos from Ricky Martin and Sofía Vergara.

]]>YHLQMDLG is the abbreviation of the phrase “Yo hago lo que me da la gana,” meaning “I Do What I Want”. The album came out on February 29th, and it was right behind Lil Baby’s latest LP on this week’s Billboard 200 chart.
With 179,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week, YHLQMDLG managed to surpass previous record-holders – Shakira’s Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 and Maná’s Amar es Combatir – and become the first all-Spanish-language album to ever soar to no. 2 in the US.
Bad Bunny’s new LP also reached the no. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, becoming his third record to do so, following his 2018 debut X 100pre and collaborative album Oasis, that he recorded alongside Colombian singer J Balvin last year.

]]>This is not the first impressive record Drake broke this year with his double album Scorpion, and it probably won’t be the last – Drake holds the record for the most charted songs among solo artists in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, the longest time on the Hot 100 and the most Hot 100 debuts in a week. The list goes on, but you get the point.
Drake kicked off 2018 by peaking at number one with “God’s Plan,” and showed no signs of stopping ever since. The year is not over just yet, but he already had 12 singles on Billboard’s Top 10, including smash hits “Nice for What” and “In My Feelings.” He broke this latest record thanks to his featured performance on Bad Bunny’s new single MIA.
