Cardi B and Bruno Mars recently decided to treat their fans with another collaboration. After joining forces on a remix of Mars’ 2016’s hit “Finesse,” the two now dropped a flirtatious new track called “Please Me.” The song was produced by 24K Magic and the Stereotypes.

“Please Me” was teased on Wednesday when Cardi B shared a cover artwork of the single.

“K so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out on Friday at midnight with @brunomars,” – the 26-year-old rapper wrote on Wednesday adding “#twogrammywinningartist.” The hashtag referenced Cardi B’s first Grammy Award which she recently received when her debut record Invasion of Privacy was named the Best Rap Album in 2018.

Besides doing songs together, Cardi B and Bruno Mars were also supposed to go on the road together. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper was supposed to follow Mars on his 24K Magic tour in the fall of 2018 but ended up canceling her appearance since she wanted to spend more time with her newborn daughter.

The Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest lineup is looking out of this world!

Rolling Stone magazine confirms that Aerosmith, Ludacris and Bruno Mars will be performing at the festival, which runs from January 31st through February 2nd.

The three-night music fest is one of the most anticipated music events in the days leading up to the NFL’s biggest night.

The lineup is definitely varied beginning with hip-hop on display with Ludacris, Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Metro Boomin’ and Lil Jon taking the stage on the festival’s first day. February 1 is a rocking kind of day with Aerosmith and Post Malone. The next day will see performances by Bruno Mars and Cardi B.

Some artists have chosen to boycott events related to the Super Bowl, but not Lil Jon who told AJC, “It’s our hometown, we gotta. It’s rare when we’re able to showcase what we love about this city and showcase our city. I think it’s more about the city than it is anything else. The Super Bowl is the Super Bowl, but this is the city we’ve grown up in, we launched our careers in and the city we live in. It’s about showcasing everything we love about our city.”

Things got a little too hot during Bruno Mars’ Glasgow concert.

The Grammy winner was forced to temporarily stop his set at Glasgow Green, Scotland, on Tuesday and evacuate the stage due to a pyrotechnic malfunction which caused a small fire.

Concert-goer told ET that four songs into his set, Mars suddenly stopped singing, telling the audience that he needs to stop the show as he was, in fact, walking off the stage. As this happened, a safety message was shown on the screen that read, “This is a safety announcement. It is necessary to stop the show temporarily. Further information to follow.”

The fire was brought under control in several minutes so luckily no major drama ensued.

Despite the ordeal, the singer kept positive and as he returned to the stage he sang, “we burned the stage down in Glasgow.” He then jokingly added, “Better call the fire department when the Hooligans get on stage!”

A spokesperson for DF Concerts said: “During the Bruno Mars show, there was an incident involving one of the stage lights meaning the show was stopped temporarily. Thanks to the quick thinking of our stage team who assessed the situation, this incident was quickly responded to, allowing the show to continue safely.”

Mars is currently finishing up the European leg of his 24K Magic World Tour and will be kicking off the US portion in September.

Bruno Mars took to Instagram on Wednesday night to reveal his new track, a remix of his 2016 song “Finesse,” which featured rapper Cardi B.

He released the single’s artwork, which shows the two stars dressed in colorful ’90s costume.

“Start your 2018 with Big Bronx Boogie Herself @iamcardib and me Midnight Tonight EST #Finesse,” the five-time Grammy winner captioned the post.

Cardi B also shared the photo on Instagram, writing, “Oh Hey @brunomars!!!! Finesse!! Drops tonight, midnight!! ITS AMAZZZZIIIINGGG.”

Mars wrote on Twitter that the music video was dedicated to one of his favorite shows. According to Rolling Stone, the new video was a tribute to In Living Color, the sketch comedy series starring the Wayans brothers. The singer-songwriter said that “Finesse” went through several versions before 24K Magic’s release.

“There’s just some things f**ing the groove up,” he told Rolling Stone at the time. “Anytime you see us, on tour, on TV, I want to be moving … I was very conscious on this album of the bounce.”

The 32-year-old singer earned a total of six Grammy nods for 24K Magic including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year for “That’s What I Like.”

As for Cardi B, she is nominated for two Grammys in the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance categories for her No. 1 hit, “Bodak Yellow.”

This week, the 25-year-old singer became the first rapper in history to place her first three Billboard Hot 100 entries in the chart’s Top 10 simultaneously.

Bruno Mars is giving back! Being currently on his 24K Magic World Tour didn’t stop the singer from joining artists like Big Sean, Cher and Pearl Jam by helping raise money and donate to fight the Flint water crisis.

On Saturday during his sold-out concert in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Mars revealed that he had donated $1 million to aid the victims and those affected by the ongoing water crisis. The singer announced that revenues from the concert had been redirected to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.

“I’m very thankful to the Michigan audience for joining me in supporting this cause,” Mars said in a statement. “Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it’s important that we don’t forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster. As people, especially as Americans, we need to stand together to make sure something like this never happens in any community ever again.”

The Community Foundation of Greater Flint’s president and CEO said that the foundation is grateful and honored to accept the singer’s donation, adding that Mars’ generosity, “will be transformative to the children and families of Flint.”
