Adele and Sheeran will go head-to-head in each category they’re nominated in, including album and artists of the year. They’re joined by Dave and Little Simz, who also have four nominations each, and Sam Fender in both of these categories.
When it comes to the song of the year contenders, the field includes a total of 15 songs. Adele is in the running with “Easy on Me”, while Sheeran made the cut with “Bad Habits”. The list of nominees also includes “Cold Heart” by Elton John and Dua Lipa, “Clash” by Dave and Stormzy, and “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals.
There’s one thing that makes the upcoming Brit Awards ceremony different from the ones that came before it—the introduction of gender-neutral categories. The awards for British male solo artist and British female solo artist have been eliminated and replaced by the artist of the year.
2022 Brit Awards are set to take place on February 8th, 2022 at London’s O2 Arena with Mo Gilligan hosting the show.

]]>After dropping the music videos for “Drivers License” and “Deja Vu”, Rodrigo rocked our world with her third single “Good 4 U”. She was literally on fire in the music video for this song, which drew compressions to Paramore’s “Misery Business” due to its punk-rock vibe.
Just a week before sharing her album with the world, Rodrigo promoted it on one of the most popular sketch shows in the U.S.—Saturday Night Live. She used the musical guest spot to her advantage, and created a lot of buzz for Sour with show-stopping live renditions of “Drivers License” and “Good 4 U”.
Her recent stint on Saturday Night Live isn’t the only testament to Olivia Rodrigo’s enormous talent. She rocks our world every time she performs her songs live, and her emotional rendition of “Drivers License” at the Brit Awards is the perfect example.
In addition to winning the biggest honor of the night,
Calvin Harris was the only act apart from The 1975 to collect two awards at the Brits this year. He received a special achievement for the best British producer of the year and shared the award for best British single of the year with Dua Lipa, who worked with him on the song One Kiss.
