According to Netflix’s official logline, this project centers on Atlas Shepherd, described as “a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, [who] joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past”, only to realize that her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it.

Atlas was written for Netflix by Leo Sardarian and Aron Eli Coleite, while Brad Peyton directed it. In addition to Lopez, it will also star Simu Liu (Barbie), Sterling K. According to Vogue’s official announcement, this year’s co-chairs are meant to reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala. Zendaya, Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Hemsworth will be joined by Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

As for the theme, “The Garden of Time” has been chosen as this year’s dress code, and it’s meant to celebrate the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”. It features approximately 250 rare items spanning over 400 years of fashion history, some too fragile to ever be worn again.

The exhibition will use the elements of video animation, light projection, AI, CGI, and other forms of sensory stimulation to make these historical garments truly pop, and we’re expecting to see a lot of dreamy and whimsical looks on the red carpet.

The 2024 Met Gala will take place on May 6 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, with Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew serving as honorary chairs.

Before finding success with The Bear, she did stand-up comedy and served as a writer on a number of comedy shows, from Netflix’s Big Mouth to Apple’s Dickinson.

Edebiri will host Saturday Night Live on February 3, and she’ll be joined by the musical guest Jennifer Lopez. J.Lo is somewhat of an SNL veteran, and she’s returning to 30 Rock to promote her upcoming album This Is Me… Now, set to hit the shelves on February 16.

This Is Me… Now will serve as the spiritual successor to her third studio album This Is Me… Then from 2002. It was inspired by her relationship with her now husband Ben Affleck, and it gave us such hits as “Jenny from the Block” and “All I Have” ft. LL Cool J.

Lopez was one of the main artists featured on the Marry Me soundtrack, but she hasn’t released a new studio album since A.K.A. in 2014. She’s yet to confirm the release date of This Is Me… Now, but she shared its track listing featuring 13 songs, including “Mad in Love”, “Not Going Anywhere”, and “Greatest Love Story Never Told”.

Marry Me tells the story of a famous pop superstar, who finds out her fiancé was cheating on her, moments before they were supposed to tie the knot at the Madison Square Garden. She decides to ditch him on the spot and do something no one could’ve seen coming – marry a random guy from the crowd instead.

Marry Me isn’t the only exciting big screen project J.Lo is working right now. She’s currently busy filming revenge flick Hustlers, also starring Constance Wu and Cardi B.

The Hustlers at Scores is based on the New York Magazine article from 2016, which tells the story of former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients. It’ll start shooting on March 22, but it’s still unclear when we can expect to see it in the theaters.
